The New General Manager of Karl Mayer Turkey: Toros Greenhalgh
Karl Mayer Group, which opened a subsidiary in Bursa in October 2023 to further strengthen its presence in the Turkish market, has made an important appointment. Toros Greenhalgh, who has been working at Erko A.Ş., which has been the representative of Karl Mayer in Turkey for many years, was appointed as Karl Mayer Turkey General Manager. Greenhalgh started his duty on 1 February.
In the statement made by Karl Mayer Group, the following explanations were made: We are pleased to announce that Toros Greenhalgh is the new General Manager of our Karl Mayer subsidiary in Turkey. The graduate mechanical engineer and materials scientist was appointed General Manager of our subsidiary in Turkey on 1 February 2024. From his work at our long-standing regional representative Erko, Greenhalgh brings extensive experience in the textile sector to his new role. Efficient response times and maximum customer satisfaction in the Turkish market through streamlined and optimised service processes – that is Toros Greenhalgh’s goal. We are delighted to welcome Toros Greenhalgh to our team and wish him a successful start at the Karl Mayer Group.”

Graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Science, Toros Greenhalgh has spent the first professional decade in the construction of large industrial plants globally and running multiple projects in renewable energies and medical products.
Greenhalgh has been working as a part of the textile machinery ındustry at Erko A.Ş., which has been representing companies such as Karl Mayer Stoll, Terrot / Pilotelli, Thies since 2017. His areas of responsibility included; sales of Warp Knitting Machine and Technical Textile machines, restructuring the management efficiency of departments such as Service, Spare Parts and IT.
