New Entrepreneurs and Projects are Wanted in Textile
Applications for the Techxtile Start-Up Challenge organized by UTİB started and the last application date is September 11, 2019.
Applications for the Techxtile Start-Up Challenge program organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTİB) within the scope of the 11th International R & D Project Market to be held on 22-23 October in Bursa have started. The program organized to encourage new entrepreneurs and designers and to strengthen university-industry cooperation, aims to increase the added value in exports in the textile field, to bring new technologies and methods into production processes and to design innovative products. Applications for the program will continue until Wednesday, September 11th.
As a result of the evaluation, the finalists will participate in the 10-day Incubation and Accelerator Program in Milan. Finalists will also have the opportunity to qualify for a TUBITAK grant of 200 thousand TL with the professional mentoring support for 1 year and ULUKOZA program. The finalists will also receive many awards such as patent application and 100 percent firm establishment support, metting the costs of company’s establishment, one-year accounting support, and benefiting from Bursa Technical University Incubation Center.
Within the scope of the 11th International R & D Project Market; also both in Turkey, as well as projects in different countries will compete. The competition aims to create added value to the sector through innovative projects, strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in textile and increase industry-university cooperation.
