Techxtile Innovation League Aims to Increase Added Value in Textile Exports
TechXtile Platform, which aims to create a culture of innovation and design for value-added exports by Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTİB), will be held for the fifth time. TechXtile Start-Up Challenge aims to incorporate new technologies and methods into production, design innovative products, strengthen university-industry cooperation and increase the added value in textile exports.
There are only a few days left for two projects within the scope of TechXtile Start-Up Challenge. Launching the TechXtile Innovation League applications, UTIB aims to contribute to the innovation-oriented development of companies while examining technological innovations and changes in the sector with the program. The application date of TechXtile Innovation League, which supports the development of Turkey’s exports, ends on January 28.
The pre-selections for the event, which will take place in two different categories, have been completed. In the Level-Up category of the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge, which includes start-ups at the idea stage (Level-Up), 20 projects made it through the pre-selection, while 10 projects made it through the pre-selection in the Scale-Up category.
“We will Pioneer the Realization of Innovative Ideas”
Pınar Taşdelen Engin, Chairman of UTİB underlined that they want to bring entrepreneurs to the sector by creating an entrepreneurship ecosystem in the textile and ready-to-wear sectors with TechXtile Start Up Challenge. Engin stated: “We are very happy and proud to realize Turkey’s only techno-entrepreneurship program focusing on the textile industry. Our greatest hope is to contribute to the development of our entrepreneurs and our sector, and to pioneer the realization of innovative ideas under increasing competition and constantly renewed market conditions. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge and wish our finalists success in the next stage.”
