PIMMS Group Supports Meeting for Educators and Industrialists

The meeting included a roundtable talk for 3-Year Strategic Initiative within the scope of “Education Vision 2023” and the “No Education without Vocational Education” approach adopted by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Minister of Education Ziya Selçuk and Provincial Director of Education of Istanbul Levent Yazıcı. The 3-Year Strategic Initiative meeting, organized and presented by Kerim Akyüz held at Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Vocational High School was attended by Istanbul Deputy Director of Education Serkan Gür, District Education Director Ali Yeşilyurt, School Principal Abdullah Engin, Principals of the Vocational High School, businessmen from the industry, non-governmental organizations, IMEDDER, school administrators and teachers.

Industry veterans Selahattin Aygüler, Chairman of PIMMS Group, Mustafa Kibar, Chairman of Met Kağıtçılık, and Şaban Beyler, Chairman of Istanbul Reklam made a speech at the meeting organized under the motto “Smell of Paper, Texture of Ink.” Selahattin Aygüler shared with the participants the opportunities of the digital printing technology’s for the industry, and gave information about the Axia 3200 UV LED printing machine which was donated to the school with the contributions of PIMMS Group, and talked about the opportunities and future of UV printing technology. All the printing demonstrations in the event were made with the Axia 3200 UV LED printing machine.

The meeting concluded with promises of nine MEETKAP seminars, nine different workshop activities, Rotary Capital Revenue to be continuously increased for three years, annual ITOGUS exhibitions for three years, the SUUFI project for three years, and the SUUFI RESTORATION project for the industry and stakeholders for the next 3 years. The meeting proceeded with a school and workshop tour, and ended with the Opening Ceremony of the Graphics Department Printing Workshop, the SINGLE-KEY Design Workshop and the Pre-Printing Department Computer Labs.
