Recycling Adventure of Yarn was Exhibited at the 19th International Yarn Fair
The 19th International Istanbul Yarn Fair, one of the most important yarn fairs in Europe and Asia, welcomed its visitors between June 1-3. During the fair, which brought together 584 exhibitors and 12,677 visitors for 3 days, important collaborations were signed.

Among the most exported yarn types in the yarn industry cotton yarn, wool yarn, viscose yarn, acrylic yarn, nylon yarn, fancy yarn, regenerated yarn, as well as a wide variety of yarn types exhibited.
This year, the fair attracted a particularly strong interest from decision-makers. In addition to experts, managers and senior executives, the proportion of actual decision makers visiting the fair reached 25% of the total visitors. Exhibitor companies had the opportunity to explain their products and services directly to purchasing authorities and to sign important collaborations.

The focus point of the visitors was the show titled “The Adventure of Transformation from Waste to Yarn”, which was set up in the foyer. In the foyer area, all stages of yarns obtained by recycling PET bottles and textile wastes were exhibited. Visitors discovered how recycled yarns that are produced by the industry’s leading companies become products used in daily life. First PET bottles or textile wastes, then the cropped form of these products, then yarn and the final product after the cropped products were shown to the audience.
Visitors were 98% satisfied with the fair. 87% of visitors said they would recommend the fair to their business circles and 95% said they plan to visit the fair next year.
