Sanko Textile Appoints New CEO: Hasan Hakan Şahin

Sanko Textile, a leading company in the textile sector under Sanko Holding, has strengthened its leadership team with a high-level appointment. H. Hakan Şahin has been appointed CEO of the company, which shapes the global and local dynamics of the sector, effective June 1, 2026.

Hakan Şahin, who possesses extensive senior leadership experience in various sectors across international markets, completed his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University and earned an MBA from the University of Michigan. He began his professional career at Procter & Gamble, where he held senior responsibilities for 15 years in critical functions such as production, supply chain, global category planning, and sales across six different European countries.

He then led the integration of acquired companies in Europe and the entry process into the Indian market at Eczacıbaşı Construction Group. Following this, Şahin worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, managing strategic transformation and growth projects in various geographies and sectors. Şahin, who served as a Board Member and CEO at Nobel Pharmaceuticals between 2013 and 2021, most recently held the position of CEO at Biofarma Pharmaceuticals.

Hasan Hakan Şahin will lead Sanko Textile into a new era that will further advance its established production power and innovative structure in global markets.
