Yataş Group Invests 40 Million Euros in Foam Production Facility
Yataş Group, one of the leading brands in the furniture and bedding sector, has implemented a strategic investment that will advance its production capacity on a global scale. The group has opened its new foam production facility, established with an investment of 40 million Euros, in the İncesu Organized Industrial Zone in Kayseri.
Yataş Group, one of Türkiye’s leading home living brands with its Yataş Bedding, Enza Home, Divanev and Puffy brands, officially opened its Kayseri İncesu Foam Factory with the participation of the Mayor of Kayseri and other dignitaries. Built on an area of 217,000 square meters and initially operating in a 50,000 square meter indoor area, the facility will significantly strengthen the group’s production capabilities with its advanced production technology, high capacity, and sustainable production infrastructure. The factory, which initially provides employment for 100 people, aims to gradually increase its workforce to 300 in the coming period. Yataş Group, which creates an employment ecosystem of approximately 3,200 people together with its production facilities, store operations and business partners, aims to further increase its contribution to regional development and employment with this investment.
The New Facility will Meet Approximately 30% Of Türkiye’s Foam Needs

Yataş Group Chairman Yavuz Altop
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Yataş Group Chairman Yavuz Altop provided the following information regarding the new investment: “Our journey, which began in 1976 with Anatolia’s first foam production facility, is now a source of pride, culminating in a global vision. With our new factory in İncesu, Kayseri, we have brought to our country one of the leading foam production centers not only in Türkiye but also in the world. This facility, beyond increasing Yataş Foam’s production capacity, serves as a strategic production center that will contribute to the development of the foam industry in our country. With its 217,000 square meter area and an average annual production capacity of 1,200,000 cubic meters, we aim to meet approximately 30% of the foam supply in the Turkish domestic market alone.”
Altop stated that they aim to reach an 80% capacity utilization rate at the facility within the first 3 years and to bring it to full capacity production within 5 years, adding that the İncesu facility will also be the strategic production center for all of Yataş Group’s overseas sales and export operations in the coming period.
Target: 50 Countries and 25 Million Dollars Export Volume by 2030
With its İncesu facility, Yataş Group aims to significantly increase its domestic supply capacity in foam production, achieving higher efficiency, quality standardization, and operational flexibility in its production processes. This investment is also expected to substantially strengthen the company’s financial performance. The new foam factory is projected to directly contribute approximately $60 million annually to the group’s turnover for 2026 and 2027, and around $100 million annually by 2030.
One of the biggest drivers of this financial growth will be global markets. Yataş Group, which currently exports foams to 20 countries and has reached an annual export turnover of $10 million, aims to actively export to 50 countries and increase its annual export volume to $25 million by 2030, thanks to the production flexibility and value-added product portfolio brought about by the new facility.
Strategic Foam Supplier for Global Brands
The new factory in Kayseri, with its high-capacity and modern production infrastructure, will contribute to Türkiye’s manufacturing power and provides assurance against the logistics problems, raw material crises, and supply chain disruptions experienced globally in recent years. The new facility, which currently has a total daily foam production capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, not only meets the raw material needs of the group’s brands but also stands out with its technical foam production capabilities for various sectors, from furniture and automotive to lamination and textiles.
Thanks to the Hennecke-QFM casting line and advanced production infrastructure used in the factory, high-standard and high-quality foam production will be achieved. With the use of top-segment technology systems in the cutting processes, the facility offers an integrated production structure from raw material to final product. Yataş, which is a strategic business partner of giant manufacturers in national and international markets with its high value-added technical foams, provides raw materials and semi-finished products to many sectors such as automotive, public transportation, aviation, defense, construction, ready-made clothing, footwear, carpets, and home textiles.
Focus on Sustainable Production
Yataş Group is once again positioning sustainability as one of its core priorities in its new investment. Thanks to the Solar Power Plant (SPP) investments implemented in its production facilities in Kayseri and Ankara, it meets all of its electricity needs from renewable sources. 35% to 50% of the surplus green energy produced is returned to the grid, creating additional added value. By recycling waste generated in its production processes, Yataş minimizes its carbon footprint and continues to strengthen its sustainable production model with investments that increase resource efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
With 1,597 sales points in 53 countries, Yataş Group, which carries Türkiye’s production and design power in home living spaces to the world, aims to further strengthen its sustainable growth vision with this strategic investment.
