What are your views on the contributions of the IGM 2022 Exhibition to the sector?
We manufacture in a 10.000m2 closed area. I don’t think the textile industry slowed down during the pandemic. We increased our production capacity by one hundred percent in line with the increasing demands. We are one of the former participant of the IGM Exhibition. We are pleased to participate again this exhibition. We hosted our domestic and international guests and met our new customers. Thus, we had an opportunity to expanded our customer portfolio. Our machines of our own production are actively working in 70 countries around the world. Thanks to IGM 2022, we have the opportunity to diversify our service area. This is an important organization not only for us but also in sector.
What was your expectations from the IGM 2022 Exhibition?
Organized for the 27th time, IGM Exhibition is an organization that is highly recognized and valued by the sector. If I have to speak on behalf of this sector; IGM Garment Machinery Exhibition at Tüyap is the first thing that comes to mind when September is mentioned. Our biggest expectation from the IGM 2022 Exhibition was to meet new companies, make collaborations, increase our foreign customers and increase our exports worldwide.
Can you please tell us about the products you exhibited at IGM 2022?
We are a 22-year-old company. In the last thirteen years of this period, we are the first company in Turkey to produce Cutter, an automatic fabric cutting machine, domestically. In addition, all the products we sell are our own production. The most important machine we exhibited at the exhibition is the unmanned fabric inspection machine. We launched this machine for the first time thanks to IGM 2022 Exhibition. We also are proud to be the first in the world in this regard.
Turkey is among the top five countries in terms of garment and ready-to-wear sector. What would you like to say about the position of garment and ready-to-wear products in Turkey today?
In terms of our country’s geographical location, Turkey has proven its quality around the world from cotton to iron packs in terms of logistics and production quality. The fact that the garment industry was not interrupted during the pandemic process is an indicator of this. When evaluated in terms of factors such as labor, logistics and current geographical location, I believe that Turkey will come to much better places in the future.
