STS Nonwovens Opens the Door to New Business Partnerships at HIGHTEX 2026
STS Nonwovens General Manager Alper Sarıkılıç stated that HIGHTEX 2026 has attracted visitor interest beyond their expectations, noting that the exhibition generated tangible results in terms of new agency agreements and export opportunities from the very first day.
Operating in the technical textiles and nonwovens industry, STS Nonwovens showcased its needle-punch technologies and thermal-bonded nonwoven products at HIGHTEX 2026. Alper Sarıkılıç emphasized that the exhibition plays a vital role both in strengthening relationships with existing customers and in reaching new markets.
A Three-Generation Journey in the Industry
Sarıkılıç stated that the foundations of the company were laid by his grandfather in the 1940s, and that they continue their operations as a family business.
Sarıkılıç stated that they are exhibiting needle-punching technologies and thermal-bonded nonwoven products at HIGHTEX 2026, adding that the company continues to deliver value to its customers by combining decades of industry experience with innovative solutions.
“Technical Products Are Best Presented Face-to-Face”
Sarıkılıç stressed that trade exhibitions continue to be highly important even in today’s digital communication era, particularly for the presentation of technical products.
While a significant portion of business communication is now conducted via the internet, telephone, and social media platforms, he noted that highly technical products can be explained much more effectively in a face-to-face environment. According to Sarıkılıç, the opportunity to demonstrate products directly and respond instantly to visitors’ questions provides a significant advantage.
Visitor Interest Exceeds Expectations
Expressing satisfaction with the visitor turnout at HIGHTEX 2026, Sarıkılıç said that the exhibition has generated stronger interest than anticipated.
Recalling that the company participated in an exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, in April, he stated that visitor traffic at HIGHTEX 2026 has been nearly twice as high as that at the Frankfurt event.
International Visitors Create New Opportunities
Sarıkılıç emphasized that Istanbul’s strategic location makes a significant contribution to the exhibition’s international appeal and noted the strong presence of overseas visitors.
At the same time, he pointed out that the company has had the opportunity to meet numerous domestic firms that they had not previously been able to reach. He added that the exhibition has been highly productive from the very first day, creating valuable opportunities for new business connections.
Tangible Results from Day One
Sarıkılıç revealed that HIGHTEX 2026 has already started to deliver concrete business outcomes for the company.
He announced that STS Nonwovens reached an important agreement with a Chinese company regarding representation rights during the exhibition. In addition, significant progress was made in discussions concerning the export of various technical products from Türkiye to China. According to Sarıkılıç, these developments clearly demonstrate the commercial potential of HIGHTEX 2026.
“HIGHTEX Enhances Prestige and Trust”
Sarıkılıç stated that participation in trade exhibitions contributes not only to commercial growth but also to corporate reputation and brand credibility.
He emphasized that exhibiting at leading industry events strengthens customer confidence and reinforces the company’s market position. Concluding his remarks, Sarıkılıç said that they are highly satisfied with the results achieved at HIGHTEX 2026 and plan to participate in future editions while continuing to expand through new business partnerships.
