“We Can Meet Customers at ITM Whom We Cannot See at European Exhibitions”
İkiler Tekstil Mümessillik ve Ticaret A.Ş., a supplier of machinery and accessories for the textile industry, presented the latest technologies of the international brands it represents at ITM 2026. Aylin Rozanes, Partner of İkiler Tekstil, said the exhibition plays a vital role in bringing together international visitors and creating new business opportunities, adding that automation technologies are the company’s main focus this year.
Having participated in ITM for many years, Rozanes explained that the company specializes in machinery and equipment for the yarn manufacturing industry. “We have been participating in this exhibition for many years. We showcase the products of the international companies we represent. Our portfolio mainly consists of machinery and accessories used in yarn production. This year, in addition to our usual display, we also exhibited a machine. Automation solutions are our main focus at this year’s exhibition.” she said.
“ITM Has Become One of the World’s Leading Textile Technology Exhibitions”
Rozanes stated that ITM has steadily strengthened its international position over the years and has become comparable with, and in many respects even stronger than, similar exhibitions held in Europe. “I have closely followed the development of ITM for many years. Today, I believe it has become an exhibition on par with the world’s best-known textile technology fairs, and in many respects, even a better one.” she said.
She also emphasized that holding the exhibition in Türkiye provides a significant advantage at a time when visa restrictions continue to affect international business travel. “At European exhibitions, many of our customers are unable to obtain visas, so we cannot meet them. At ITM, however, we can meet both our existing customers and industry professionals from many different countries under one roof. This creates very important opportunities both for us and for the companies we represent.” she added.
Remaining Optimistic Despite Challenging Market Conditions
Rozanes noted that the textile machinery industry has been significantly affected by economic and geopolitical developments over the past two years.
“Economic conditions, the global slowdown and ongoing conflicts have directly impacted our industry. As a representative company, we have also been affected. It has not been an easy period, but we remain hopeful for the future of the sector. That is why ITM is so important for us.” she said.
Commenting on the visitors at ITM 2026, Rozanes highlighted the professional quality of the audience. “We see genuine industry professionals here. We rarely encounter visitors who are unrelated to the sector. We are also welcoming many international visitors, which adds significant value both to our country and to the exhibition itself.” she said.
Industry Recovery Remains the Greatest Expectation
Looking ahead, Rozanes expressed hope that both the textile and plastics industries will recover as global economic conditions improve.
“We are hearing some positive signals, but the overall picture is still not where we would like it to be. We continue to see companies operating at low capacity, while others have unfortunately closed. Our hope is that global political and economic uncertainties will ease, allowing the industry to return to a path of growth.” she said.
At the end of the interview, Rozanes also thanked Teknik Fuarcılık, especially Necip Güney, for their contribution to the success of ITM.
“The organizing team has played a major role in bringing ITM to its current level. We are delighted to have been part of this exhibition for so many years, and we look forward to many more successful editions together.” she concluded.
