“We Had Numerous Contacts with Customers from Different Countries at ITM 2022”
Simone Rancan, CEO of Santex Rimar
The ITM 2022 Exhibition, which is the largest global exhibition held after the pandemic, has been the lifeblood of manufacturers that have been waiting for a long time to bring their new products and technologies together with their customers.
Stating that it has become very convenient to reach people from different countries at the ITM exhibition, Simone Rancan, CEO of Santex Rimar expressed that coming together after a 3-year hiatus provided them with incredible opportunities and that they hope to return from the exhibition with many gains. Rancan said that they are working hard to develop robust and reliable machinery and that they attach great importance to reassuring visitors and customers since manufacturing and after-sales service is parlous in these days.
Sustainability and natural resources are other factors that Santex Rimar attaches importance to. Rancan expressed the importance they attach to this issue with the following statements: “Everyone needs to pay more attention to sustainability in order to cope with the supply chain problems we are currently experiencing and to be more sensitive about natural resources. After the global problems experienced in the supply chain during the pandemic, every textile machinery manufacturer is trying to develop something novel in order to expand despite the difficulties. So I expect a lot of innovation from participating companies.”
When asked if there were any collaborations that he signed during the exhibition, Rancan replied: “We cooperated with companies from different markets such as Turkey, Uzbekistan, even the Far East market Bangladesh, and established new relations. We will start discussing interesting projects with our new stakeholders.”
Making evaluations about the Turkish market, Santex Rimar CEO emphasized that Turkey continues to grow and has achieved significant success in the fields of technology and application. Rancan stated that Turkey is on the way to becoming more and more a supply center not only for Europe but also for the Middle East.
Underlining that 2022 was a very productive year for them, Rancan continued his statements as follows: “Therefore, I think we can overcome all the difficulties in the world. Because we see that customers turn to reliable suppliers that produce textile machinery equipped with more technology. This is exactly where we are.”
