Yeşim Textile Establishes New Factory in Ağrı
The textile production center of which was laid foundations the last March with the participation of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu was opened in Ağrı . The foundation of the new factory of Yeşim Textile, which will be held in the 4th stage within the scope of the opening ceremony, was laid.
The ready-made garment production facility, which was built on a 44 thousand square meter land allocated as part of the 3rd stage of Ağrı Tekstilkent Project, which will consist of 3 stages, was opened. Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, Ağrı Governor Süleyman Elban, Deputy Police Chief İbrahim Kulular, Ağrı Mayor Savcı Sayan, Yeşim Textile Chairman Şenol Şankaya and various corporate directors and citizens participated in the opening ceremony.

Yeşim Textile Chairman of the Board Şenol Şankaya, who spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony, said that they have produced ready-made clothing and home textiles for the world brands for 36 years. Şankaya reminded that Yeşim Textile is one of the few integrated facilities that can carry out all transactions from yarn to finished product in garment sector. Şankaya said; “In order to meet the demands of our customers in line with our 2023 targets, we have decided to increase our capacity and employment for the future and we are continuing our works on this subject in a planned manner. We laid the foundations of our ready-to-wear production facility last March. We aim to be a part of the economic development of the region by providing employment for 5 thousand people within three years. With the groundbreaking ceremony today, we are proud and happy to have increased our target to 10,000 people.”
