Yeşim Tekstil Impressed with 320 Million Dollars of Exports in 2018
Celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, Yeşim Tekstil is manufacturing in garment and home textile for world brands with its approximately 3,000 employees in an area of 325 thousand square meters in Bursa. Yeşim Tekstil is one of the four biggest integrated facilities in the world, which can perform all operations under the same roof in the garment sector from yarn to finished products. Russian market. The company which has an advanced R & D center for technical textile and nano technology do hundreds of fabric work every year.
YEŞIM TEKSTIL WILL CONTINUE TO GROW IN PARALLEL WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SECTOR
Şenol Şankaya, CEO of Yeşim Tekstil, stated that the company will continue to grow in 2019 by emphasizing that the company has achieved 320 million dollars of exports and 15% growth in 2018. Şankaya, while expand- ing the company said that they would take the necessary steps to meet their customers expectations on quality, design, innovation and sustainability. Şenol Şankaya also made explanations about the company and the sector. Şankaya emphasized that they closed 2018 with a record and added, “As exporters, we are aware of our net contributions to the growth of the country. We believe that Turkey’s export target will reach 182 billion dollars in 2019. This year, we will try to preserve our current strength and further strengthen our position. Turkey will continue its way up the momentum and as well as our company’s will continue to grow in parallel with the development of the sector in 2019. ” he said.
Şankaya added that the Turkish garment industry was the second largest sector in 2018 with 17 billion 642 million dollars of exports. Şankaya said that he predicted, apparel exports would increase to $ 19 billion in 2019.
