Aksa Akrilik Among the Most Investing Companies in R&D
The traditional research “R&D 250” of Turkishtime magazine, which evaluates the R&D studies of companies, has been concluded. Aksa Akrilik was also included in the list measuring the annual performance of companies that have R&D centers approved by the T.C Ministry of Technology and Industry. Aksa Akrilik took place the list for two consecutive years, achieving an important success.
Aksa Akrilik, which began its activities in 2015 for finding new usage area for acrylic fiber that only produced by Aksa Akrilik in Turkey, continues its work. During the 2019, more than 13 million Turkish liras were invested in R&D activities. Thus, Aksa Akrilik, which took its place in the “R&D 250” list prepared by Turkishtime magazine according to the investment amounts of companies in this field, succeeded in ranking 102nd in the general ranking.

Noting that they focus on R&D studies in line with their strategic goals, Aksa Akrilik Board Member and General Manager Cengiz Taş said: “R&D is an area that Aksa Akrilik gives priority. Every year, we allocate a significant part of our budget to R&D. We allocated 54 percent more resources in the first half of 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year. We have put many innovative projects into practice, notably Everfresh, an antimicrobial textile product with a permanent effect. I congratulate each member of our expert R&D team and all Aksa’s employees. Our R & D center will continue to provide added value to Turkey.”
