Atlas Max and Presto S Introduced to the Turkish Market at ITM 2022
Kornit Digital, among the important participants of the exhibition, brought Atlas Max and Presto S together with the Turkish market at ITM 2022. The feature of white printing on dyed fabric on the meter printing side and the prints that create a 3D effect in partial printing were appreciated by the visitors. This technology, which utilizes sustainable and water-free production, does not require pre-treatment and post-processing, hence breaking new ground in textiles. We talked to Kathrin Buhl, Sales and Marketing Director EMEA of the company, about ITM 2022 and their new products.
After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, textile technology leaders came together at the ITM 2022 Exhibition. Can we get your opinions on the gains of the ITM 2022 Exhibition for the sector?
First of all, I would like to thank you for hosting us and bringing us together with the businesses we operate in the same sector through ITM 2022. We have had very few opportunities to meet with customers during the pandemic period. The entire textile industry has changed in the past two years. We encountered problems such as delivery problems, and price increases. I think ITM 2022 will enable us to re-enter the exhibition industry gradually and confidently. At this exhibition, we observed that the need for digital printing and personalized prints increased. The manufacturing sector also needs to change and adapt to this new situation.
How is the ITM 2022 Exhibition going for you? Does it meet your expectations?
Yes, I can say that it is satisfactory for us. We met with our customers. We planned new collaborations. Also, the interest of the press in the exhibition is very good. We hope to have more visitors tomorrow.
What are the features that distinguish the products you exhibit at the exhibition from your competitors and what will be their advantages that they will provide to users?
The difference between our products from the productions of other competing companies is that we do not need any pre-processing and are highly sustainable. We use water-free technologies. This is one of the most important advantages of Kornit. We have always aimed to produce environmentally friendly and sustainable products. In my opinion, we reveal our difference from our competitors not only through the new technologies and innovations that we use but also with our 3D printing technology.
What are the advantages and benefits of Atlas Max and Presto S that you are promoting?
This year, we introduced our unit, called call Atlas Max, which utilizes completely new technology. Thanks to this new technology, all of our printers will be able to use XDI technology. Thus, we will be able to perform 3D printing and layer printing in the form of 3D effects, and moreover, we will be able to simulate embroidery patterns. In addition, we introduced a similar technology to print dot-apparel and dot-fabric. Thanks to this process, which is very advantageous as it is a one-step solution that we can deliver to customers, we can also print on dot-polyesters. The product is ready for use with a single printing and drying process. In addition, there is no need for any chemicals or additional treatments during or after the process.
Are you satisfied with the interest shown in your new product?
We have received quite a lot of appointment requests from the participants who want to watch our products live. We hope that there will be more visitors in the coming days.
