Galip Bilol, Managing Partner of Bilol Makine Mümessillikleri, stated that at ITM 2026 they are bringing together textile professionals with the latest solutions from some of the world’s leading textile technology manufacturers that they represent.
Bilol explained that the companies they represent include the Jakob Müller Group, which specializes in narrow fabrics, labels and finishing technologies for narrow textiles, as well as Electrojet, a manufacturer of cleaning systems for weaving mills. He noted that India-based Prashant produces weaving preparation machinery, particularly warping machines, while Benninger, a well-known brand in Türkiye, offers a wide range of wet finishing technologies.
Bilol also stated that Xetma Vollenweider, a manufacturer of dry finishing machinery and various textile equipment, is among the brands they represent. He highlighted Joseph Egli, a company specializing in water treatment and water recycling systems, emphasizing its particular importance for Türkiye. According to Bilol, water management will become a critical issue for the country in the future, and interest in sustainable production technologies continues to grow.

Recalling that the origins of ITM date back to the first exhibitions organized in Bursa, Bilol said that they have been participating in the event for many years. He described ITM as one of the most important exhibitions in the textile industry, providing an excellent platform for leading technology manufacturers from around the world to showcase their products.
A Strategic Hub for Regional Markets
Evaluating the visitor profile, Bilol stated that Turkish textile manufacturers are of primary importance to them. At the same time, he noted that the exhibition attracts a significant number of visitors from countries such as Iran, Syria, Iraq and Egypt due to its strategic location.
Bilol pointed out that many textile professionals face visa and cost-related challenges when attending exhibitions in Europe. For this reason, he emphasized that ITM has become even more important for the countries in the region. He added that the accessibility offered by the exhibition creates valuable opportunities for both visitors and machinery manufacturers.

Acknowledging that the textile industry has faced a challenging period over the past two years, Bilol stated that the sector continues to maintain its strategic importance for the Turkish economy. He emphasized that textiles remain one of the country’s most significant industries in terms of employment and expressed confidence that the sector will recover.
Bilol noted that easier access to financing and improvements in economic conditions will play a key role in helping the industry regain momentum in the coming years. He stressed that the textile industry will never disappear from Türkiye and concluded that, thanks to the country’s strong manufacturing infrastructure and extensive expertise, textiles will continue to play a vital role in the future.
