Aksa Akrilik Brings the Transformation from Fiber to Fabric into Design

At its 75-square-meter stand at Texhibition İstanbul, Aksa Akrilik brought together Aksafil, Acryluna and Pilout, showcasing a diverse range of products, colors and applications to visitors.

Aksa Akrilik welcomed visitors at Texhibition İstanbul, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from September 9–11, 2026, with a stand design centered on the transformation from fiber to fabric. At the heart of the stand were yarns that started from yarn bobbins, came together and transformed into a large-scale knitted form. With fiber and yarn becoming an integral part of the stand itself, Aksafil, Acryluna and Pilout were presented together in a variety of products, colors and application areas.

Highlighting how changing needs in the textile industry are also transforming material and product development processes, Serhan Belener, Aksa Akrilik Textile Fibers Sales and Customer Services Director, stated that they view acrylic fiber not simply as a manufactured product, but as a versatile material capable of gaining different properties and serving a wide range of applications.

Belener said: “With our stand at Texhibition, we wanted to make this approach visible through the transformation from fiber to fabric. By bringing Aksafil, Acryluna and Pilout together in the same space, we demonstrate the diversity that fiber can acquire at different stages of production and across various applications. For us, the important point here is not simply to showcase our products, but to communicate the potential of the material and how this potential can respond to different needs.”
