Artemis Carpet’s New Collections Attracted Strong Interest at ICFE 2026
The carpet sector, which ranks as the world’s second-largest exporter after China with a foreign trade volume of USD 3 billion and a 17% global share, met with visitors at the International Carpet & Flooring Expo (ICFE 2026), held on January 6, 2026, at the Istanbul Expo Center.
Showcasing 7 new collections and nearly 400 new designs in addition to its existing range, Artemis Carpet took its place at Stand 613A in Hall 6 and attracted significant attention throughout the fair. Emphasizing that Türkiye is not only a major producer but also a key player shaping global trends, Tolga Batallı, Chairman of the Board of Artemis Carpet, stated that more than 60% of the company’s production is exported to the United States and European countries.
Supported by the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (IHIB) and the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Association (GAHIB) and organized by TUYAP Tüm Fuarcılık AŞ., the ICFE 2026 International Carpet and Flooring Expo welcomed visitors at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) between January 6–9.

“We Export 60% of Our Production”
Sharing his goals related to ICFE 2026, Artemis Carpet Chairman Tolga Batallı said: “Gaziantep, which serves as the center of the carpet sector in Türkiye, holds a significant share in both production and exports. As Artemis Carpet, we laid our foundations in Gaziantep and have been operating in the sector for more than 10 years. With products manufactured using the latest technologies, we have achieved notable success in the industry. We export 60% of our production. In 2026, we aim to increase our capacity by 30%. With a total production facility area of 32,000 square meters (indoor and outdoor), an annual production volume of nearly 1.8 million square meters, more than 750 sales points across Türkiye, and exports to over 30 countries, we provide employment to more than 2,000 people nationwide and offer high value-added products to our customers.
As Artemis Carpet, we do not limit ourselves to production alone; by creating high value-added products, we focus on representing our country strongly in international markets. Our goal is to carry the deep-rooted heritage of the Turkish carpet industry into the future with a modern vision. In line with this, we have adopted environmentally friendly, sustainable, high-quality, and innovative production as our core principle at every stage, from production to export.”
The 2026 Carpet Collection: Where Quality Meets Craftsmanship
Providing details about the new collections, Batallı added: “The foundation of our new collection is built on 100% viscose content that prioritizes quality and naturalness, combined with a 100-reed high-density weaving structure. In 2026, by offering 7 different 100-reed collections, we have achieved a level of weaving density and quality that is difficult to attain in the sector. The collection has been designed to harmonize with a wide range of interior styles, from classical and opulent spaces to modern and contemporary living areas. In collections such as Hermes, Pera Palace, and Piena, craftsmanship, artisanal quality, and a premium character stand out. With the Art Shape collection, we have for the first time introduced geometric patterns into the 100-reed weaving category with an artistic approach. In modern collections such as Art Stil, clean lines, timeless colors, and architectural harmony are prioritized. With a total of 17 collections and more than 300 designs, we have created a strong and ambitious 2026 collection shaped by user expectations.”
