Continuing its growth in global markets with next-generation dyeing and finishing machines centered on energy and water savings, Canlar Mekatronik makes a difference in the textile machinery sector with its R&D strength, sustainable production vision, and Industry 4.0–compatible solutions.
Sustainability, energy efficiency, and digitalization are no longer a preference in the textile industry; they have become fundamental determinants of competitiveness. While the role of machine manufacturers becomes increasingly strategic in this transformation process, Canlar Mekatronik stands out in the sector with the innovative solutions it has developed. Strengthening its position in global markets through exports to more than thirty countries, the company plays an active role in the transformation of the textile machinery industry with its R&D investments, automation-focused production approach, and Industry 4.0–compatible systems. Canlar Mekatronik CEO Kaan Çakıcı evaluated this vision and future goals in our interview.
Could you talk about the innovative machines and technologies you have developed as a company? For example, what advantages do your next-generation fabric dyeing machines such as “TECHSmart” provide to the sector?

AIRSmart
As Canlar Mekatronik, we have a wide product range in textile dyeing and finishing machinery. We offer the sector numerous solutions such as fabric dyeing, yarn dyeing, package dyeing, beam dyeing, equalizing, and tumble drying machines. Among these, next-generation fabric dyeing machines such as TECHSmart and AIRSmart stand out with their designs that minimize energy and water consumption; they reduce operating costs and environmental impact without compromising production quality
“We Support Environmentally Friendly Production with TECHSmart and AIRSmart”
How did 2025 pass for Canlar Mekatronik? How do you evaluate the year in terms of production, exports, R&D/innovation activities, and demand in global markets? Especially, what impact did the recently increasing environmental and efficiency demands have on your company?
It is observed that 2025 was a period focused on sustainability and efficiency both in production and international markets. As Canlar Mekatronik, while responding to increasing environmentally friendly demands with next-generation solutions, we introduced our products to global markets. Especially at trade fairs, machines such as TECHSmart, AIRSmart, and DRYTEX Crosswise, which offer environmental and efficiency advantages, attracted attention, and the increasing demand further strengthened the product portfolio in this area. In addition, the continuation of R&D studies approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology continued to nourish our innovative approach.
What does sustainability and an environmentally friendly production approach mean for Canlar Mekatronik? Do you have machine or process designs that provide optimization in water, energy, and chemical usage? What are your innovations in this area?
Sustainability is at the center of Canlar Mekatronik’s production and product development strategy. As a company, thanks to our solar panel systems, we obtain a significant portion of our energy consumption from renewable sources. With this method, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and lower production costs. Our products include designs that optimize water, energy, and chemical consumption; high-efficiency class motors are used in machine motors, and waste and consumption in processes are minimized. Waste generated in production is sent for recycling, and environmental impacts are kept under control.
“We Manage All Our Production Processes with Digital Systems”
How have digitalization, automation, and Industry 4.0 trends brought changes to Canlar Mekatronik’s production processes and product designs?

TechSmart
As Canlar Mekatronik, we use high automation and digital monitoring systems in our production processes. With ERP-based production tracking systems, production and part flows are digitally monitored across all departments. In warehouses, materials are directed to the production line through automatic systems. In addition, state-of-the-art cabling machines are used for machine automation systems. Our products are Industry 4.0 compatible and also provide suitability for automatic control and process optimization.
“We Operate Across a Wide Geography from Europe to Asia, from the Middle East to Africa”
