BOSSA’s New Yarn Factory Investment Commissioned
Bossa, one of the largest integrated textile companies of Turkey, commissioned its new yarn factory built on its land in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organised Industrial Zone. The factory will produce 40 tonnes of yarn daily.
Bossa Ticaret ve Sanayi İşletmeleri T.A.Ş. continues to be one of the leading brands in the denim fabric and sportswear industry with its collaborations with trend-setting brands that have been shaping the fashion of the world for 73 years. Continuing its R&D and P&D activities without slowing down, the company also continues its investments.
Bossa recently completed its investment in the yarn factory established in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organised Industrial Zone and commissioned all of its facilities. Making a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform on the subject, the company said, “Our factory has a daily capacity of 40 tonnes. With the commissioning of this investment, our company will meet all its yarn needs with its own production and production cost advantage will be provided.”
Attaching great importance to environmental sustainability and accelerating its investments to become a zero-waste company, Bossa aims to meet all of its energy needs from renewable energy sources. For this purpose, a solar power plant (SPP) with a power of 5,300 KWp was installed on the roofs of the new factory buildings in order to meet the energy need at more affordable costs. The electricity to be generated from the SPP on the roof will be used for the company’s own needs.
The following statements were made in the explanation: “Our company regularly continues its investments within the framework of its sustainability vision in order to reduce costs, adapt to technological developments and ensure efficiency in production.”
