IHI Dalgakıran Makine, Turkey’s First and Only Turbo Compressor Manufacturer Started Operation
Established in Turkey to increase employment and to reduce the import rates, IHI Dalgakıran Turbo Compressor Factory in Dilovası/Kocaeli started production with a grand opening ceremony held on October 11, 2018.
Starting with the opening speeches of IHI Dalgakıran’s General Manager Yakub Tüfekci, IHI Dalgakıran’s CEO Kazuo Kobayashi, and IHH Dalgakıran & Dalgakıran Chairman Adnan Dalgakıran, the ceremony continued with the speeches of Erdal Bahçıvan, Chairman of Istanbul Chamber of Industry, İsmail Gülle, Chairman of TIM, and Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology.
IHI DALGAKIRAN SERVES IN MANY AREAS OF THE INDUSTRY
IHI Dalgakıran Makine is moving towards becoming an R&D center with a large structure in Dilovası/ Kocaeli production facilities. 40% of the total employment at IHI Dalgakıran is composed of expert engineers.
IHI Dalgakıran Turbo compressors, the first and only turbo compres- sors produced in Turkey in cooperation of Japanese and Turkish engineer, serves many areas in the industry from iron and steel to auto- motive, to mining and textiles.
IHI Dalgakıran Turbo Compressors T2A, TRA, TRE, T3A and TRX models with various pressure and capacities are produced under the guidance of a team of IHI Dalg- akıran R&D team consisting of Turkish and Japanese engineers from each sector.
CONTRIBUTING TO THE COUNTRY’S EXPORTS
Offering sales and support service in the whole of Turkey, IHI Dalga- kıran offers its products to Europe, the Middle East, Turkic Republics and Africa. Providing up to 35% energy savings compared to conventional compressor technologies, IHI Dalgakıran Turbo Compressors produce 100% oil-free compressed air. In addition, since the need for compressed air changes frequently during production, it offers optimal designs tailored to customers.
Continuing the Industry 4.0 activities from the first day it was established, IHI Dalgakıran is currently the first and only turbo compressor manufacturer in Turkey.
IHI Dalgakıran’s turbo compressors produced in Turkey are exported to Germany and China. IHI Dalgakıran makes a great contribution to lowering imports and increasing Turkish exports by establishing its turbo compressors production facility in Turkey.
