Increasing Its Sales Volume, Bromak’s Target is Asian and South American Markets
Interview: Özge Çağıl Sütcü
Bromak Makina was founded in 2020. Bromak Makina, which produces fabric quality control and packaging machines, has increased its sales volumes by exceeding its targets despite being a newly established company.
As Tekstil Teknoloji magazine, we interviewed Zeki Bekar, Bromak Makina General Manager for our September special issue. The highlights of the interview with Bekar, who explained all their targets from the features of quality control machines to export markets, are as follows:
In 2020, we combined our experience gained in leading companies in the sector with our expert employees in order to provide better and quality service to the domestic and international fabric sector. We are working towards this goal. We serve all kinds of fabrics. We wrap, package, cut, in short, we produce customized solutions for all kinds customer’s demands. We operate in almost every sector, including leather (except paper); canvas, tent, parachute, nonwoven…
“5 of the top 10 Largest Exporters in Egypt are Our Customers”
We both sell our machines to the domestic market and export them to foreign markets. The countries we are the most famous among them are: Egypt and Uzbekistan. Especially 5 of the top 10 largest exporters in Egypt are our customers. We aim to enter the Asian market in the coming period, we see export potential there. South America (such as Colombia, Brazil, Mexico) and Turkic Republics are among our next plans.
We complete the planning and installation processes quickly and ensure delivery as soon as possible. When developing our products, we work considering our end customers in terms of ease of use. We adopt the principle of business benefit in our products. We are working to achieve maximum benefit with minimum labor. It is important to us to save field, time, and cost. It is also important to be open to innovations; for example, we aim to step into the food sector. There is a need for machinery in every sector. As machinery manufacturers, we are working to meet these needs.
” We Made More Progress than Our Competitors, Despite the Crises”
We respond to the demands of our customers 24/7 with our expert team and technical service. We can also connect online via computer and provide real-time solutions. Nevertheless, I must say that we have not received a serious technical service return since our establishment. Customer satisfaction is important to us, which is why we replace parts even in the event of simple failures, regardless of user error. We support companies in this regard with peace of mind, since we have software and hardware knowledge.
The textile sector is going through difficult times, there are crises and difficulties from time to time. Despite the pandemic lockdowns, raw material and energy crisis around the world, we have made more progress than our competitors. We even had a significant number of customers in Kahramanmaraş. Many of our customers experienced difficult situations due to this earthquake. We also had companies in Gaziantep and Malatya that were damaged. All these did not prevent improvements in our sector. I think these will overcome and the sector will recover. There is general search and R&D activity in the sector. Everyone is in search of innovation. Companies will be able to protect both their own and the country’s economies by producing their own electricity and energy, and making their machines economical and environmentally friendly. There is a trend towards environmentally friendly production in the industry. We are also working in this field. We reduce our costs by doing our work fast. We supply our products without being affected by exchange rates. We deliver our products within the minimum time. I think that companies will recover as long as they are diligent and their motivation is not lost.

“We Train Our Qualified Personnel Within Our Own Organization”
We have many customers among the top five hundred exporters in Turkey. We work with large dye houses and fabric manufacturers. We have customers in all regions of Turkey. We continue to grow day by day and increase our sales volumes. As we go through these phase, we have been listening to our staff since the first day we started the road. Our personnel working in the field are among the most important factors in our development. Despite all these, there is also a problem of qualified personnel in the sector. As a solution to this, we train our qualified personnel within our own organization. We generally prefer university graduates. If there is an internship program, we also support students in that context. We should support our young friends as much as we can; this should be considered a kind of debt for everyone in the sector. We also take care to employ qualified personnel. We want to transfer all our knowledge.
” We will Highlight Our Open Finished Knitting Control Machine at ITM 2024″
Our open-width finished knitting inspection machine is already our featured product. We are planning to participate in ITM 2024 with this device, and we are making the necessary preparations for this. We can say that our machine reduces the need for manpower by one-third. It has the capacity to pack and wrap two tons of products per day. The most important features that distinguish this machine from its competitors are: it is fast, it requires less manpower and it does not spoil the texture of the fabric. These fabrics come with a certain discipline (mechanical discipline) and we prepare them with free drafting (shrinkage resistance). Many companies do not pay attention to this feature and experience great difficulties because they spoil the fabric’s shrinkage.
