India with its Extraordinary Traditions, Culture and Colorful Life

Hinduism believers constitutes 81 percent of the nation’s population in India. In the country where religion has a great influence on daily life, Muslimism follows this rate by 12%. Christianity and Buddhism are also among the common religions.
Economy Depends on Service and Agriculture Sector
The Indian economy has two different structures. On the one hand is the information-based services sector, which employs the most intelligent people of the middle class, and has a modern and global competitiveness, and on the other hand the agricultural sector, where the less educated workforce is employed. Although the manufacturing sector has traditionally been inadequate due to poor quality products, this has started to change in recent years. As a result of the strong growth in the services sector, the share of the sector in GDP in 2018; 46.9% , share of the industry sector; 29.2%, share of the agricultural sector; 16.5%. According to 2019 projections, the share of the main sectors in GDP is as follows: Agriculture; 15.9%, industry; 29.4% and services; 47.2%.
Ready-to-Wear and Textile Exports Increased
The total exports of ready-to-wear and textile industry in India rose by 2% to $ 27.2 billion in the 9 month period between June 2018 and February 2019.
During this period, fiber exports increased by 25%, yarn exports by 17%, filament exports by 12%, while apparel exports declined.
India’s main markets are the EU, the United States and the UAE, and these three markets account for 54% of the country’s total apparel and textile exports.
The Caste System is Dominating
In India, social organization is based on the caste system. The caste order, which is an element of discrimination that disregards the human rights principles, prevails in India for a long time. The effect of this order is dominant in every area of the locals’ lives. In the same caste members can marry each other. The caste system determines who will make the which profession. Classification in the caste system is not based on wealth or poverty, it is based on the principles of well-founded Hinduism.
