We interviewed with Fan Liyuan, Founder and Chairman of YingYang Company, which attaches importance to the Turkish market, for our Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Technologies magazine. Liyuan, who is also the Vice President of China Textiles Machinery Association and Executive Vice Chairman of China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association, gave information about the sales and export markets in 2023 and made evaluations about HIGHTEX 2024 Exhibition.

“Our Orders Increased Steadily Both Domestically and Internationally in 2023”

How was the year 2023 for your company? Can you evaluate it in terms of your production volume, orders, and export markets? How is the first quarter of 2024 going for your company?

Thanks to the support of domestic and foreign non-woven enterprises, the orders of YingYang Company have been steadily increasing both domestically and internationally in 2023. Due to the adjustment of China’s epidemic policies, more foreign customers have visited YingYang Company in 2023, gaining a deeper understanding of the company’s products, technological strength, manufacturing capabilities, etc, further increased confidence in YingYang Company’s products. The export scope of YingYang Company’s products is further expanding.

In 2024, YingYang Company will comprehensively increase its investment in technology talents, equipment facilities, after-sales services, etc., enhance the company’s technological innovation capabilities, manufacturing capabilities, improve after-sales service systems, and provide customers with the best non-woven equipment, the highest quality pre-sales, in-sales, and after-sales services, continuously striving to achieve YingYang Company’s goal of becoming the preferred brand in the non-woven machinery industry.

Which are the key global markets in which YingYang has a strong presence and the emerging markets which are promising for the future? What is the importance of the Turkish market for YingYang?

YingYang Company provides suitable non-woven machinery products based on the characteristics of different markets around the world. Europe is the birthplace of nonwoven machinery, and nonwovens are in a leading position in the development of Europe and North America, with a greater emphasis on green and environmental concepts. The complete set of acoustic PET panel equipment produced by YingYang Company can produce more than 3000g/㎡ products with high strength, flame retardant, and noise reduction characteristics, which are highly welcomed by EU customers. With the widespread application of new energy vehicles, the company’s production lines for automotive interior materials have diverse functions and are used by customers in the United States, Germany, China, and other countries. The automotive interior products produced are mainly supplied to internationally renowned companies such as Tesla and BYD. Based on over 30 years of domestic and international market experience, YingYang Company has strong competitiveness in both major global markets and emerging markets.

Nonwovens are widely used in Turkey, which is one of the important global non-woven markets. Turkey’s business accounts for rather important of YingYang’s export business. YingYang is willing to make positive contributions to the development of Turkey’s non-woven industry.

Sustainability is an important subject for technical textiles and nonwoven manufacturers all around the world, what is YingYang sustainability policy?

China has set the goal of carbon neutrality and carbon peak to the world and is willing to make significant contributions to sustainable development worldwide. In the field of industrial textiles and nonwoven fabrics, the sustainable development direction is energy conservation, emission reduction, and recycling. This requires nonwoven machinery to achieve higher production and efficiency at a certain energy consumption level, minimize the “three wastes” emission indicators in the nonwoven fabric production process, and achieve the recycling and reuse of fiber raw materials. The complete set of equipment for recycling and reusing recycled fibers developed by YingYang Company is a thermal insulation product produced using shoddy fibers as raw materials and air laid. Also, by using plant fibers (such as cotton, hemp, coconut palm, etc.) and biodegradable materials as raw materials, nonwoven products produced by YingYang Company’s nonwoven machinery are natural without additives and waste free, implementing the concept of green development.

Reducing production costs is a priority for all nonwoven factories, how your machinery can help manufacturers in this field?

We believe that there are multiple measures for factories to reduce costs, the cost components can be identified through financial cost analysis, taking targeted measures to achieve the effect of reducing costs. As a manufacturer of nonwoven machinery, YingYang Company’s newly developed carding machine has a 12% reduction in comprehensive energy consumption, while the needle punching machine has a 10.5% reduction in comprehensive energy consumption. The products we supplied have lower energy consumption, more intelligent, reduce labor consumption, higher production efficiency, and with strong competitiveness for market.

What are your expectations about the world technical textiles sector in 2024?

Nonwovens and industrial textiles are livelihood industries that are closely related to each and every one-off us and are essential for industrial construction and daily consumption. The non-woven machinery equipment developed by YingYang Company is suitable for special functional fibers such as carbon fiber, kevlar fiber, and ultra-high strength polyethylene fiber, etc. The nonwoven products produced are widely used in high-end fields such as aircraft, high-speed rail, and aerospace, expanding their application space.
