Investment from Uğurlular Tekstil in Rieter Fully Automated Piecing Robot ROBOSpin
News: Dilek Hayırlı
Denizli-based Uğurlular Tekstil, one of Turkey’s most established companies in the textile sector, has invested in ROBOspin, the industry’s first fully automated piecing robot manufactured by Rieter, for more than its 30 compact and ring spinning machines.
ROBOspin piecing robots repair ends down that occur while a spinning machine is running, or during doffing. The robot receives information about the position of the ends down from the integrated individual spindle monitoring (ISM). The robot operates 24 hours a day, maintains a consistently high level of productivity and makes the spinning process easier for a spinning mill organisation as a whole.
With minimal contact between the robot and the cop throughout the entire piecing process, yarn quality remains high. It can be installed on different types of Rieter ring and compact-spinning machines, and on both new and older models, and rapidly adjusted to common raw materials and yarn counts.
Uğurlular Tekstil Member of Board Osman Uğurlu said the following about their new investment: “We follow the developing technologies in our sector in the best way and integrate them into our company and we believe in investing in technology for a successful future. In this context, we have purchased ROBOspin, the first fully automated piecing robot of our industry produced by Rieter for more than 30 compact and ring spinning machines. We will continue to add strength to our country and industry with our investments.”
