“ITM 2022 Was A Great Opportunity to See The Innovations in the Textile Industry”

TMT-CIMI, located in Biella region, one of the textile centers of Italy, produces advanced machines for the textile industry in many different fields. TMT-CIMI manufactures high segment machines such as warping and sizing, open width continuous washing, KD, foulard, dinking, wet brush.
We interviewed Fulvio Perazio, Technical and Sales Manager of TMT CIMI, one of the participants of the ITM 2022, for our Tekstil Teknoloji magazine.
Can we get your opinions on what the ITM 2022 Exhibition has gain to the industry?
Exhibitors and visitors showed great interest in this important exhibition. Because the entire industry has left behind a long period of recession. ITM 2022 Exhibition presented a great opportunity to experience the innovations in the textile industry first hand and to see old friends again.
What are your expectations from the ITM 2022 Exhibition?
The two-year pandemic period gave us the opportunity to focus on our R&D department. We want to share the innovations and developments we are working on with our Turkish customers. We are sure that we will receive more orders in the near future. This will be very good for us.
Could you give some brief information about the products you will highlight at the ITM 2022 Exhibition?
We specialize in textile finishing. For this reason, we have a wide range of products in wet finishing and dry finishing processes. While focusing on water saving and a very good washing result in the wet finishing process, we wanted to achieve energy savings on the dry side and the desired touch effect in the final product in the best way.
What are the features that distinguish the products you exhibit at the exhibition from your competitors and what will be the advantages they will provide to the users?
Our products are entirely made in Italy. As the owner is an old-school mechanic, we offer our customers engineering, manufacturing and the best after-sales service. We develop state-of-the-art units, both mechanically and electronically. For more than 30 years we have been selling our products to the Turkish market and I don’t think there is a customer who is not satisfied with our products, so we want to continue to follow the same path in the future.
What would you say about the position of the Turkish textile industry in the world today?
The shortest way I can answer this is as follows. When I ask one of my Italian customers to invite a Turkish customer to visit their company, almost none of the Italians accept because they think that Turkish competitors are too strong and they don’t want to let them into their facilities. Also the quality of the Turkish market is increasing rapidly. We are absolutely sure that the quality is high thanks to the use of our machines in technical textiles.
