After a 3-year break due to the pandemic, textile technology leaders came together at ITM 2022. What are the achievements of ITM 2022 in the textile sector?
After the three-year waiting period due to the pandemic, this exhibition is of great importance. Because it is the only exhibition attended by the entire industry. ITM 2022 is a promising organization in which manufacturers offering their best products in the European and international markets. As I mentioned earlier, the Turkish market is a very important platform for the entire European textile industry.
Which products did Savio exhibit at the ITM 2022, what are the advantages of these products to users?
Savio exhibited solutions-oriented machinery portfolio: winding, winding for continuous shrinkage, bulking and heat setting and TFO twisting at ITM 2022. The effect of the Volufil machine process gives acrylic fibers dimensional stability, higher volume, wrinkle resistance or temperature resistance, which acquires a regular geometrical structure with excellent volume. : Savio Multicone technology and Sirius twisting machines are especially addressed to our customers producing packages for
dyeing and very fine counts, from Nm 200 and above.
What kind of collaborations did you sign during the exhibition?
We have visited many customers. We have very important orders and customers we expect. A large number of people come to this exhibition from all over the world, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and other countries. Everyone was waiting for this exhibition.
What are your opinions about the Turkish textile sector and the Turkish market?
The Turkish market is growing more and more. Everyone wants to do business with Turkish customers and Turkish textile garment manufacturers.
What is your prediction about trends and innovations in spinning and winding technologies around the world in the near future?
We foresee a lot of innovations. The most important thing is to produce environmentally friendly machines that can work with less water with fully automatic machines. Another important factor is the sustainability of the machines, as well as the machines that can work at any time of the day and anywhere.
The effects of the pandemic are gradually decreasing all over the world. How is 2022 going for Savio?
We had some problems last year. Production was very low due to the pandemic. However, after the pandemic, the volume of business is increasing all over the world, especially in Turkey. Turkey is the country with the greatest potential for us and we have received some important orders. We believe that Turkey is a very important country for Europe and other countries.
