“ITM 2026 Brings Our Dark Laboratory and Dark Plant Vision Together with Customers”
Specializing in dyehouse and laboratory automation, Odesi presented its AI-supported fully automatic systems and new models to industry professionals at ITM 2026. With solutions built around precise dosing, centralized software control and repeatable processes, the company aims to improve quality, reduce operator-related errors and lower operating costs.
At the exhibition, Odesi highlighted its Dyehouse Automation Systems and Automatic Laboratory Dispensing Systems developed for textile dyehouses and colour laboratories. Managing processes such as chemical and dyestuff dosing, dye weighing, chemical dissolution and reserving under centralized software control, these solutions make production flows more measurable, traceable and standardized.
Bedil Uzmanoğlu, Co-founder of Odesi, said interest has been increasing in systems that improve quality, reduce operator initiative and intervention, and ultimately bring costs down. Noting that Odesi is making serious investments in software and artificial intelligence technologies, Uzmanoğlu said the company’s work focuses on processes that can operate with a dark laboratory and dark plant approach.
“Despite Challenging Market Conditions, We Preserve Our Hope and R&D Appetite”
Uzmanoğlu stated that global economic conditions and contraction in textile markets are putting pressure on machinery manufacturers, but emphasized that they have not lost hope for the industry. Odesi aims to turn market disadvantages into opportunities by developing new technologies, presenting them more actively to customers in different markets and continuing its R&D efforts with the same determination.
According to Uzmanoğlu, ITM 2026 is a critical platform not only for meeting existing customers, but also for introducing machines and new technologies face to face to visitors the company cannot always reach directly. He noted that the fair allows ODESI to hear users’ opinions first-hand, adding that visitor interest has met expectations when the conditions of the year are taken into account.

“The Americas and Far East Asia Are Among the Priorities for the New Period”
Uzmanoğlu said Istanbul’s international position strengthens the fair’s global reach, enabling the company to meet investors, customers and potential distributors from different countries. Bringing together potential customers who had previously only been contacted by phone — or not contacted at all — on the same platform creates an important advantage for new business opportunities, he added.
For the coming period, Uzmanoğlu said Odesi will focus on markets where it wants to strengthen its reach, including the Americas and Far East Asia, while continuing to develop products that accelerate activity in existing markets and increase competitiveness. Choosing one word for ITM 2026, Uzmanoğlu described it as “meeting,” underlining the value of the exhibition in connecting with new people and bringing technologies together with the right audience.
