“ITM 2026 is Our Window to Global Markets”
Based in Gaziantep, NMS Nur Makina presented its 100% locally manufactured non-slip gel-backed carpet manufacturing machine to industry professionals at ITM 2026. Drawing on its field experience through its own carpet production facility, the company aims to grow in both Türkiye and international markets by reflecting the accelerating digital printing transformation in the carpet industry into its machinery.
At the exhibition, NMS Nur Makina highlighted its own non-slip gel-backed carpet manufacturing machine. Company Manager Mehmet Tekik said acrylic and polypropylene carpets had been more prominent in previous years, but the sector is now moving toward digital printing systems. Tekik noted that the company has captured this shift and responds to manufacturers’ new requirements by integrating these innovations into its machines.
“Producing in Gaziantep and Opening to the World Is a Strong Motivation for Us”
Tekik emphasized that manufacturing in Gaziantep carries special meaning for the company, adding that they continue to focus on production and technology despite regional challenges. NMS Nur Makina aims to combine its experience in carpet finishing machinery and custom-built solutions with the needs of a digitalizing carpet market, developing more efficient, locally produced and competitive machines.

“Istanbul’s Location Gives the Exhibition Global Reach”
Tekik described ITM 2026 as an important biennial platform and a window opening to the world, noting that the company prepared strongly for the exhibition. He said Istanbul is one of the world’s key centers and that work carried out there can reach different markets more easily, making the exhibition critical for creating new business opportunities.
“We Are Already Planning Our Preparations for 2028 and 2030”
Looking ahead, Tekik said the company will continue its activities in carpets and carpet machinery, while expecting digital technologies to grow further worldwide. NMS Nur Makina sees the interest it received at ITM 2026 as part of its preparation process for the 2028 and 2030 exhibitions; its focus remains on local and innovative machines suitable for digitally printed carpet production.
