Nominasyon Tekstil will Introduce Its New Collection
Garment Tech Istanbul, which takes the pulse of the sector in the field of apparel and ready-to-wear technologies, is preparing to bring together leading manufacturers again this year. Nominasyon Tekstil, which has a deep-rooted history and a strong vision in the field of interlining and embroidery materials, will present its new collection backed by scientific studies to visitors at Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition in Hall 4, Stand 407.
One of the leading players in the interlining sector in Turkiye, Nominasyon Tekstil is a production centre equipped with a laboratory and cutting room infrastructure, with more than 40 types of interlinings in stock. The company, which promotes sustainable production with environmentally friendly products certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard), is also reinforcing its power in the sector as the Turkish representative of the German embroidery materials giant Gunold, founded in 1927.
“A Great Product Line will Meet Users for the First Time”
Artem Aykut, owner of Nominasyon Tekstil, said that they are preparing for Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition with great excitement and expressed his expectations from the exhibition as follows: “We want to increase the awareness of the German brand Gunold, for which we are the agents in Turkiye and Egypt, and replace the ‘cheapest product’ approach often seen in the market with value-added, quality-oriented products. In addition, for the first time, we are introducing the brand new and different Nomination Tela collection. Unlike standard interlining companies, a wonderful range of products backed by scientific studies will be meeting users for the first time.”
The company, which attracts attention with its unique solutions developed by going beyond standard interlining applications, sees this fair as a showcase. At the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition, the company will exhibit its recyclable, sustainable interlining collection, visuals of non-standard interlining applications, physical parts, Atatürk portrait made from recycled interlinings, and embroidery materials from thread to needle that can be used in all embroidery productions.
“Turkiye is Unrivaled in Quality”
Aykut also expresses the contribution of Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition to the Turkish economy and especially to the garment and ready-to-wear sector as follows: “Everyone is aware that the market is shrinking. Egypt in particular is producing more than its capacity, but it is not possible for them to compete with Turkiye in terms of quality. Turkiye is still the strongest address for value-added companies. Thanks to Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition, foreign buying groups will also realise this.”
“Our Target is Foreign Buyers and High-End Brands”
During the show, the company will be targeting foreign buyers and high-end brands, with the aim of paving the way for new collaborations on a global scale. With his 22 years of experience in the textile sector, Aykut assesses the needs of the sector and emphasises cooperation: “Instead of helping each other, we are all hindering each other. But we can earn much more if we act together. Government support is also needed; exporters are in a difficult situation. High interest rates put pressure on companies, and special practices such as exchange rate support can help exporters.”
