Organizing ITM in Istanbul is a Right Decision
Brückner Owner and CEO Regina Brückner said, “We are happy to see so many people from all over the world in Istanbul. We have customers from many countries. Istanbul is a centre nowadays. It is a very good decision to organise ITM in Istanbul.”
The German textile machinery manufacturer Brückner is known worldwide for its high-quality finishing lines. Offering a wide range of products for the carpet industry, Brückner has been serving its customers with lines for drying and finishing different floor coverings for more than 70 years. Here are the highlights of our interview with owner and CEO Regina Brückner:
“Our Customers Focus on Sustainability and Reduction of Energy Costs”
The products we are presenting at ITM include RAM and sanforizing machines and tensionless dryers. We also have many machines in the field of technical textiles, especially for carpet and nonwoven production. Our most remarkable unit is the new Power-Relax Dryer. Nowadays such machines have to have a perfect adjustment system.
I see that our customers are interested in sustainability, factory improvements, reducing energy costs, saving chemicals and recycling. In this industry, there are a lot of considerations in terms of designing products correctly and then how to recycle them. There are new opportunities, but they need to be produced in the right way.
“Automation is a Necessity Nowadays”
The digital products we develop help our customers to produce new textiles every day by applying the right recipes and settings. In our current work, in addition to these digital products, we also have a group of experts working on the machines to support our customers. We think that when you look at a plant, not just one machine needs to be optimized, but the whole installation. For example, the energy from a stenter or dryer can also be used for heat exchangers or other machines. I also think that good automation in the textile industry is a must nowadays.
There have been supply chain disruptions and similar problems in the textile industry. Now we are facing other challenges, but I think this is typical for the textile industry. We are moving in an industry with ups and downs. What people here are looking for is new ideas and really investing in the right machines and the right technologies.
“We have customers from many countries”
The fact that there are so many people from all over the world in Istanbul makes us happy. We have customers from many countries. Istanbul is a centre nowadays. It is a very good decision to organise ITM in Istanbul.
