Saver Makina Increases Product Variety for Offering Better Solutions
Saver Makina, with more than twenty years of experience in textile machinery manufacturing, operates in its production facilities in Corlu Tekirdag. The company, adds a new product to its product range every year, continues to offer creative solutions to meet customer needs in the best way.
Saver Makina, which adopts success in production, continuity in innovations plus honesty and quality in service, produces fabric dyeing, sample washing, tube fabric cutting and squeezing, fabric edge cutting and convection fabric dyeing machines.
Continuously developing and increasing its staff every year, Saver Makina continues to work with engineers, technicians and technicians who are experts in their fields.
Saver Makina, which has adopted the principles of “continuous innovation in design, maximum quality in production and honesty in after-sales services”, has become a brand that is not questioned by the sector. Ali Cumhur Baş, R & D Manager of Saver Makina, that came to this point with his continuously developing technical staff, fast and timely return to customer demands and R & D studies, says: “Every new machine order gives us new experiences.’’
Can you tell us about the development process of Saver Makina?
Saver Makina was founded in 2001 by the owner Hüseyin Molla. Firstly, it started its activities in Çerkezköy, the district of Tekirdağ. Later, the structuring within the company was further improved. Last year we moved to our current location in Ergene. Our company has increased its production capacity compared to previous years and continues its activities with the production capacity of dyeing fabrics which are in high square meters such as 3 thousand square meters.
The production facilities of Saver Makina consist of three different sections. The first section is located in the field where installation and nailing operations are performed. All the mechanical parts needed are in the second section and all kinds of cutting/bending processes, called cold forming, are performed in the third section. We produce 90% of all the semi-products of the machines that we produce in our departments with our own facilities.
In the first section, stainless steel HT dye and fabric cutting and squeezing the tube, the balloon squeezing, beam coating, yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing and pipe type fabric dyeing machines are being manufactured. In our second manufacturing section, mostly sample fabric washing, edge cutting and gluing units are produced.
Saver Makina attaches great importance to the production variety. Can you tell us about your company’s work on this subject?
After many years of continuing production in Convectional Dyeing Machines, similar to other convectional dyeing machine manufacturers, our company unveiled a new generation of high-tech H Ht Eco Salvo product, which provides 50% of steam consumption, 30% of electricity consumption, 37% of chemical consumption and 44% of water consumption, thanks to the R & D studies initiated in 2010.
In addition to this new technology it has produced, also continued to develop rapidly by adding tube fabric cutting and squeezing machine, balloon squeezing machine and beam coating and cone dyeing machines of different capacities, for nearly eight years.
What is the reason for increasing your product range so much?
Saver Makina, operating in an area of approximately 700 square meters last year, has continued its activities with two machine types and two units, now expanding its product range to five. We also had additions on our units. Thus, our product range has almost doubled. Saver Makina, which increases the product range by multiplying the production of machinery and units, and I can say that the reason of increasing the diversity is: thanks to the high variety of machines, we provide a wide range of services by ensuring that each product completes each other in the project works related to the wet machines requested by our customers.
ITM 2020 is less than a year away. Do you have any productions that you plan to exhibit in the fair? Can you mention on these?
We have a balloon squeezing machine that we are planning to train for ITM 2020 Fair, which we can call the partner of tube cutting machine. Our work on this machine is completed. We are currently in the manufacturing process. Furthermore, we have completed our studies on yarn dyeing machine, which is one of the standard textile dyeing machines of the combined textile machine manufacturers. We are planning to introduce this product at ITM 2020 Fair.
How do you carry out the R & D of your developing product range?
While Saver Makina continues its twentieth year with the production of paint machines, it has new experiences in every machine order and every customer relationship. Every new business and customer contact brings us a new experience. In this process, we also benefit from the ideas of customers. We mix our own ideas with the demands or needs of our customers and create new ideas. This inevitably contributes further to the development of R & D. Some companies exhibit their new products at certain fair periods. We are constantly doing R & D studies. We continue our R & D studies both in terms of machine variety and in order to improve the internal structure of the machines we produce.
Can you criticize Saver Makina for solutions and problems?
I have worked with different companies for twenty years and I have been working at Saver Makina for two years. Contrary to other companies, it places much more emphasis on service in textile machinery. Our company has a structure that finds instant solutions to the feedback coming from customers, creates an R & D in order to solve that problem, makes use of subcontractors as a result of this R & D process and reaches the solution in a short time.
Can you provide the same service to your customers at the export?
Compared to the previous year, Saver Makina significantly increased its sales in 2019. With its new export infrastructure, it maintains this rate with high momentum both within land and abroad. We achieved a significant growth with a significant increase in turnover compared to the previous years and we have exceeded our 2019 expectations. The machines and R & D studies we produce are continuing; Our Company seems to have completed its targets in the number of new product designs that will be launched in 2020. Although people have some concerns about the future due to the problems experienced in our country, we see that we have achieved the correct numbers as the number and turnover of the machines we produce in the textile machinery sector. There is a rapidly growing system and structure within Saver Makina’s own internal structure. As the production quantities of the machines increased, the more they sold, the more they reached with more end users, the interest naturally increased with the industry giving accurate references to each other. As interest in the new technologies we produce increases, we develop new strategies and systems to meet this demand.
Saver Makina has expanded its export initiatives with different projects and strategies with 60 percent or 40 percent rates in a balanced way. Our agents work for us in about six countries. Our agents also provide solutions to the problems of our customers very quickly.
In which countries do you have agencies and which countries do you export to?
First, we have an agency in Bangladesh. We have become a preferable brand there with the machines we sell. We have a very good representative in Pakistan. The last two machines we sold were to Pakistan. We have a paint factory in Uzbekistan. We continue our negotiations with Egypt. We aim to export there soon. Also; Our export operations to India, Iran, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria are continuing.
What kind of activities do you do in terms of sustainability and environmentally friendly production?
Today, there are two types of dyeing machines that Saver Makina has produced in house. The first one is what we call Eco Solito, which is similar to the products made by the paint machine manufacturers that we see as standard. The second one is Eco Salvo which is the locomotive of our company. This product has its own unique features that are not made by any manufacturer in the world. Unlike other convectional dyeing machines, the heat exchanger of Eco Salvo was canceled and enclosed. This reduces heat losses. Especially steam, water and chemical consumption of our machine is quite minimal. We also develop a third type of fabric dyeing machine called “Unito”. At present, no machine has been produced by any manufacturer in the world with the features of this product. With this product, we will provide 15 liters of water instead of 25 liters of water that should be consumed by 1 kilogram of fabric.
What are your goals for 2020?
Continuing our current business is our primary and most important goal for 2020. In addition to the high-tech products we produce as standard, we have new products that we will have the opportunity to exhibit at the fairs to be held next year. For the company to continue its movement with a constantly developing and growing momentum, first of all, we will try to use our opportunities in all overseas exhibitions as much as possible with the contributions of our agencies in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt and Iran, which we have realized in order to bring our locomotive products together with end users. We will continue our continuous efforts in the coming period to add new ones to our culture of designing patented products, which we have made the habit of “continuous R & D” slogan. We think that this way of working and the way of thinking will give us a high acceleration and we will strengthen the references and change the viewpoints of the foreign textile companies. We hope that 2020 will be a successful year for the Turkish textile sector and machinery industry.
