Turkey’s Export Champions Were Rewarded
In contest of “Stars of Export- Secret Champions of Export” the 17th held this year, successful companies were rewarded which are directing Turkey’s exports.
Speaking at the award ceremony Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) Chairman İsmail Gülle, emphasized the importance of innovation and R & D activities. Gülle said that, “We have achieved great successes as country even in the periods when the tendencies of protectionism in trade have increased and the threats in the global economy have reached to a high level. The record export of 15.7 billion dollars in October was the biggest indicator of our future success.
We aim to focus on value-added production and export by bringing R & D, innovation, design and branding to the fore in all our companies. With the support of our state and our nation, we believe that we will reach our 2023 targets with our 71 thousand exporters.”
MOGUL IS THE SECOND IN THE ‘ORIGINAL PRODUCT’ CATEGORY
“Stars of Export-Secret Champions of Export” competition was comprised of 11 categories. In the nonwoven fabric production based on hybrid technology, not only in Turkey, one of the world’s leading manufacturer Mogul, was second in “Original Product” category.

Mogul Textile Sales Manager Fatih Budak indicating that they are produced its production in Gaziantep, Luleburgaz and South Carolina and said they are one of the two companies doing hybrid technology production all over the world.
AKBAŞLAR TEKSTIL WON ‘SPECIAL AWARD’
Akbaşlar Textile, which can design, manufacture and export within a week to the world’s fashion leaders and has sense of fast fashion became one of the ‘Special Award’ winning companies. Akbaşlar Textile representative Erol Akbaş received his award from TIM Chairman İsmail Gülle. Akbaşlar Tekstil, established its 12th R & D center in 2015 , production and process development, product development, design, patent, chemistry analysis and physical testing units, women’s outerwear, sportswear and defense industry projects are carried out.
