We Acquired New Customers at the ITM 2024 Exhibition

Continuing its production with 30 years of experience, West Global Makina hosted its visitors at its stand on the third day of ITM 2024. Fethi Özkök, Chairman of the Board of Directors of West Global, stated that the exhibition more than met the expectations of the sector.

Özkök said, “This exhibition is crucial for following sectoral developments in a close perspective. As a textile manufacturer who has been participating in this exhibition since 2004, I can say that ITM 2024 has reached such a high level to compete with international exhibitions. The exhibition has become very professional. For three days, we have been hosting our guests non-stop, introducing our products, delivering our messages for the future and receiving messages from our customers. We have made agreements with both domestic and international partners. We have acquired new customers along with the companies we have worked with before. The feedback we received is quite satisfying.”

Özkök also mentioned the contraction in the textile machinery sector and said the following “Machine production is generally shaped by hopes and investments for the future. However, current market problems are also causing difficulties for textile manufacturers. These challenges are affecting machine manufacturers producing investment products as well. Nevertheless, no one is hopeless. Everyone is in a renewal process of how to get better by reducing costs and producing more efficiently. I believe the sector will get back on track. Now the process of compensating for these losses has begun. I foresee that in one or one and a half years, we will be in a more normal situation.”
