Arta Tekstil, which has a monthly production capacity of 4 million meters of dyed or printed woven fabric with its 300 employees, continues its investment activities.
The company announced that it will establish a solar power plant to meet the electricity needs of its factory in Çorlu Velimeşe Organized Industrial Zone with renewable solar energy. The installation of the power plant will begin in February and will be completed in August.

Arta Tekstil Co-Founder Arif Nalbant stated that they plan to meet the entire electricity consumption of their factories through renewable solar power plant with zero carbon emission, with the SPP investment. Nalbant contiuned his words as follows: “We will use domestic solar panels in our power plant, which will contribute to reducing our country’s dependence on foreign energy.”
Nalbant stated that they have worked with a focus on sustainability in their production processes until now, thereafter they aim to produce the energy they use with low carbon emission, renewable and environmentally friendly methods. “We were providing 40% of our thermal energy with renewable biomass. When we commission the SPP, we will provide our electricity consumption from 100% renewable, zero-carbon solar energy,” Nalbant said.
“We will continue to establish water and energy-saving control technologies in line with our decision to minimize our environmental impact, heat recovery systems from flue gas and waste water, and make investments to increase our operational efficiency.” Nalbant ended his words.
