Implementing comprehensive environmental management in all production processes to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations and to promote sustainability, Arta Tekstil distinguishes itself in exports with the certifications it has obtained, thereby gaining a competitive edge.
Made a Difference in Competition with Countries like Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia
Since its establishment in 1988, Arta Tekstil has embraced eco-friendly practices throughout its production processes, setting itself apart from its competitors through its methods. The company enhances its competitive strength and builds trust with global suppliers through certifications in areas such as wastewater management, use of solar energy, and the utilization of environmentally friendly chemicals. In competition with countries like Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia, Arta Tekstil stands out with its sustainability certifications and focuses on acquiring new customers through strategic certification efforts. Highlighting that the company holds certifications for minimizing its carbon footprint by generating electricity from solar energy, Co-Founder Arif Nalbant stated that this has enabled them to build stronger collaborations with brands in the European market that prioritize sustainability.
New Export Strategy: Certifications
Emphasizing that European brands place great importance on this issue, Arif Nalbant said, “For European brands, companies that minimize environmental impact in their production processes are among the top choices. For instance, sustainability and carbon footprint are of major importance for global firms like Decathlon. Thanks to our investments in this area, we succeeded in becoming Decathlon’s first and only woven fabric supplier in Europe. Each certification we obtain takes us a step further, and in the long term, we aim to turn this into a competitive advantage to gain new customers. This way, we can expand into new markets and increase our export power. Our goal is to soon match and exceed the figures we achieved in 2023,” he added.
