Durak Tekstil Participated in Texprocess 2026 with Its Functional Threads
Durak Tekstil, which develops solutions for a wide range of industries from ready-to-wear and automotive to footwear, protective clothing, furniture, and bedding, showcased its expertise in functional technical threads at Texprocess 2026.
As one of the leading manufacturers of industrial sewing and embroidery threads, Durak Tekstil took part in Texprocess 2026, held in Frankfurt between April 21–24, presenting its innovative solutions developed through R&D.
Visitors had the opportunity to closely examine a wide range of innovative products at the company’s stand (Hall 8.0, Booth H30), including conductive, scented, cut- and flame-resistant, glow-in-the-dark, and reflective threads. At the exhibition, Durak Tekstil not only displayed its R&D-driven threads and sample applications but also emphasized its position as “a solution partner beyond thread.”
Yiğit Durak, Vice Chairman of the Board of Durak Tekstil, stated that Texprocess is one of the key exhibitions they prioritize both for product presentation and for engaging with the global market. He noted that the fair attracts a diverse and multi-layered visitor profile, including manufacturers from various industries as well as educational and research institutions. In this context, he described Texprocess as an important platform where they showcase their technical capabilities and R&D strength. He also added that with their broad product portfolio, they aim to connect with decision-makers across sectors ranging from sportswear and automotive to bedding and occupational safety.
“We do not redefine ourselves at Texprocess; we express ourselves correctly,” said Yiğit Durak, emphasizing that although they develop technically strong products, it is not always easy to convey the real benefits these products provide to end users. For this reason, he explained that they have restructured their product presentations at the fair. Through specially designed interactive setups, visitors are able to see not only the technical features of the threads but also the advantages they offer when used correctly. This approach allows visitors to focus more on inspiring applications made possible with their threads.
At Texprocess 2026, Durak Tekstil exhibited a wide range of functional and high-strength threads designed for different applications. Highlighted products included Duma, Duraless, and Durabobbins threads; Durak SilverPro conductive thread; Durak Redolent scented thread; Durak Fire Safe Aramid; Durak Cut Safe; UV–WR–AS–ASK–OS threads; glow-in-the-dark Durak Milky Way; reflective Durak Reflective; CFR threads; sustainable Eco thread group; Lyosense and Lyostitch; organic cotton-based Duracotton Bio; infrared-invisible Durak Poly-Strong PC-IR; Durak Laser-Safe; insect-repellent Durak Bug Safe; as well as heat- and UV color-changing threads.
With a well-established history of over 50 years and a strong export-oriented growth strategy, Durak Tekstil continued its efforts at Texprocess 2026 to reach its target markets and expand its customer network.
