Recep Yaran, General Manager of Kar-Des, stated that at ITM 2026 they are showcasing the technologies of some of the world’s leading textile machinery manufacturers, emphasizing that the exhibition serves as an important platform for trade and cooperation not only for Türkiye but also for neighboring countries.
Yaran stated that Kar-Des İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. represents strong brands from the Far East that are integrated with world markets, and that they exhibited Rifa weaving machines, Wuyang warping machines, Vernit circular knitting machines, Sinsim embroidery machines, Wumutech jacquard systems, and various textile technologies at the exhibition.

Expressing his satisfaction with the exhibition, Yaran said they have held numerous meetings with visitors from both Türkiye and neighboring countries. “Exhibition are among the fastest ways to access information and examine new technologies in operation. Evaluating the visitor profile, Yaran pointed out that the strong interest shown by the new generation of managers from well-established textile companies and young entrepreneurs was particularly noteworthy. He stated that the enthusiasm of these new investors toward technology and new projects is encouraging for the future of the industry. Yaran also noted that textile investments have been accelerating in neighboring countries, particularly in Syria and Egypt. He said that they held meetings with many buyers from these markets and that the exhibition has created valuable opportunities for new business partnerships.

Artificial Intelligence and Automation Solutions Take Center Stage
Yaran noted that artificial intelligence and automation applications have become increasingly widespread in textile machinery in recent years and stated that they are showcasing machinery equipped with these technologies at ITM 2026. He explained that the camera systems used in embroidery machines can track patterns on fabric and perform operations with high precision at designated coordinates. He also explained that the machines are equipped with new software that allows users to monitor and control them remotely via mobile phones through internet connectivity.
Yaran added that Kar-Des closely follows technological developments in the industry by regularly attending international exhibitions and visiting leading manufacturers around the world.
