Founded in 1996 in Kahramanmaraş with 6 weaving looms, Şirikçioğlu Mensucat operates in the fields of ring spinning, open end spinning, texturized yarns, POY (partially oriented yarn), raw woven, non-denim and denim weaving in facilities located in Kahramanmaraş and Kayseri.

Ranking amongst Turkey’s top 1000 industrial enterprises, Şirikçioğlu has a ring spinning capacity of 162,000 spindles, OE capacity of 27,000 rotors and a capacity of 5,200 spindles of texturizing. The company produces a total of 350 tons of yarn per day. In addition to spinning 10 million meters of denim and non-denim fabric are produced and sold every month with 841 looms. Today, Şirikçioğlu Mensucat continues to offer services with a staff of 4 thousand people worldwide.

What are the criteria that you pay particular attention to in your production?

We offer quality products with the principle of customer orientation and fast service possibility and assurance of continuity, with a focus on customer satisfaction. We analyze the textile markets with changing fashion trends in order to constantly improve our place in the market, and take our service quality one step further. We attach importance to R&D and design activities by trying to have all our employees adopt an innovative approach. By analyzing energy and water consumption, we take important steps to increase efficiency. We continuously improve the energy performance of our products during the procurement stage and the existing production processes.

We use energy, qualified manpower, technology and time more efficiently by preventing failure-induced quality losses in our production processes. We attach importance to the health and safety of our employees by contributing to their personal and professional training. We recycle our wastes at the source, and recycle them in accordance with local and international norms. We continuously monitor and evaluate our suppliers, and ensure the sustainability of our raw material quality.

In addition, we eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals with chemical risk controls in the supply and production chain. We aim to leave an environment sustainable and livable with peace at mind to future generations without disturbing the ecological environment.

What do you pay the most attention to in your investments in machinery and technologies in your production facility? As a leading company in the country, can you tell us about what you prioritize in your investments to maintain your competitiveness and quality?

In our investments in machinery and technology, we consider the main components of Industry 4.0 to increase our competitiveness, and respond to future fashion trends and customer expectations. We try to choose smart systems that combine low cost, less space and less energy with information technology that provides higher production capacity, environmentally friendly, occupational safety and industry activities.

Our goal here is to reduce energy consumption by reducing production time, to reduce costs, to keep occupational health and safety at the forefront, to increase product quality and quantity with environmental awareness. Xorella is a major contributor to our expectations in achieving our quality goals.

In light of the benefits of yarn quality, what have been the factors that made you prefer Xorella technologies? Can you tell us a little about the start and current status of your cooperation?

Our first expectation from Xorella yarn conditioning machines, which we have been using for 6 years, was the homogenous distribution of moisture among the bobbins. Xorella has met all our expectations in the process of yarn conditioning. Its automation structure which is compatible with other technologies saved us workforce in the transfer systems. The fact that Xorella Systems are capable of conditioning high number of bobbins

in a single automated system with comparably lower energy consumption, and Sarteks’ fast and reliable service possibilities as well as their solution-oriented working principle allowed us to build a trustworthy cooperation with Xorella.

What would you say about the benefits, advantages and added values of Xorella yarn conditioning, fixing and steaming machines in your production and products? Can you evaluate their positive contribution to your high quality approach?

Since the old style yarn moisturizing machines did not fully meet our expected homogeneous distribution of moisture in the bobbins, we had some problems in the following yarn process. Xorella yarn conditioning machines increased the satisfaction of our customers with its capability of homogeneous moisture distribution which allowed safer further processing of yarn, eliminating problems which would result in customer claims.

How do you evaluate Fongs-Xorella for after-sales and support services? Speed is as important as quality among other factors to increase the competitiveness in production. Here, the service of machines becomes more important. What are your comments on this?

It is important that a system or product you purchase can provide fast and solution-oriented service at the time of need as well as having high quality. It makes us feel safe to know that our supplier company will be there for us any time we need, and can solve problems quickly.
