Gugoltex: Our Priority is Try to Have A Greater Presence in Turkey
Gugoltex, which provides the best solutions for socks and textile manufacturers for all kinds of production stages from yarn to product packaging, has been the representative of Bipier and SGF companies which have been producing innovative automations and finishing machines for socks for 30 years.

We interviewed Giovanni Ugolini, owner of Gugoltex, for the Italian Special Section of our Textile Technology magazine. Saying that Turkey has become more important market each passing day for Gugoltex, Giovanni Ugolini added ” We will participate at the 2020 ITM exhibition in Turkey with the Bipier and SGF which we are represent and we will speed up our works.”
Can you tell us about the development process of Gugoltex?
Thanks to the my long experience, of over 30 years, in the textile sector, Gugoltex can offer productive consultancy service. We can find, together with our costumer the best solution for the reorganization of the production department, increasing order and efficiency by reducing any waste or excess.
Since 3 years, we are representing BIPIER (www.bipier.com) and SGF (www.sgfautomazioni.it), two companies that produce special innovative automations and finishing machines for socks. Bipier and SGF have been on the market for a long time thanks to their skill and ability to be always innovative and efficient. We installed few machines in Turkey with always a good feedback.
Can you give information about your fields of activity?
Productive consultancy, is the more important part of our business and in the last 2 years is increasing a lot. With our consultancy service we are able to study the best solution for every type of situation, starting from the yarn up to the boxing of products and togheter with our representative we can satisfy a lot of request, planning and desing the exact investiment tailored to the costumer’s needs.
Could you tell us about your worldwide sales and support network?
In the past 30 years we had the chanche to work and collaborate with many countries like Turkey, South America, Spain, United States of America, Poland, Russia etc. and thanks to this expirence we have evreywhere reference points helping us to keep the contact and the relationship with customers. However, since 2013 our work has focused mainly in the Turkish market where I have been present since 1990.
How important is the Turkish market to Gugoltex – and much work do you carry out in this country?
For Gugoltex, as we said, Turkish market is increasingly essential every day. Being focused primarily on this nation, we have the opportunity to be present in person every month in order to visit and support our customer.
How has 2019 for Gugoltex and what are the company’s plans for the 2020?
For Gugoltex, 2019 has been such a good year but but as in all things we always want to grow and improve by testing ourselves day by day. It is for all these reasons that for 2020 we have a lot of plans and goals to achive, starting from trying to have a greater presence on Turkish territory, a plan that will begin with the participation of Gugoltex and its representatives at the ITM 2020 exhibition in Istanbul.
Bipier Develops a Breakthrough Innovative Ironning Machine in 2019
What trends are you currently witnessing in the hosiery machinery market?
We believe that in the coming years automations will have a further development which will be largely concentrated on the customization of products and on the ability to study and develop customized products based on specific customer needs.
What have been your company’s biggest achievements over the past 12 months?
Bipier’s biggest achievement during the last year is the development and improvement of a new and innovative ironing machine equipped with a fully automatic loading system, which will produce a generational change. We strongly believe in this project, in fact we invested many resources to be able to develop and optimize it.
How important is digitalisation to Bipier’s, and what is Bipier’s doing to be prepared for industry 4.0?
The term Industry 4.0 indicates a trend of industrial automation, which is a specific branch of our sector and one of our largest projects, namely to match our research and development capabilities of new automation systems with specific and individual needs of our customers.
How important is the Turkish market to Bipier’s – and much work do you carry out in this region?
After twenty years of experience exclusively for one of the major Italian branded socks manufacturer, we started to approach the world market and in particular to Turkey which is becoming more and more relevant in our work. We are aiming a lot on the Turkish Market.
What are your goals for 2020?
Our goals for this year are to be able to take over more in international markets, which is why you will find us at ITM 2020, and develop new and innovative automations to keep up with the relentless tech-watch development.
SGF’s the Second Most Export Country is Turkey
Can you give information about your fields of activity and products?
SGF di Bagni Gianfranco is born in 1992, it is continually expanding and always looking for new technical solutions to improve the efficiencies of the machines constructed, and to be always more competitive in the textile industry,producing finishing, packaging and steam or eletrical boarding machines for high quality .
Could you tell us about your worldwide sales and support network and the countries you export?
In a few years SGF has been able to establish themselves over the market thus gaining the confidence of the biggest Italian and global hosiery’s leader, who could find an open company always ready to new exclusive projects to create together.
Its most important advantages are:
The uniqueness of its every single machine that is personalised for the customer.
The practicality of the machines that are designed specifically to be simple and efficiencies to anyone who will use them.
The assistance to the customer who is followed in every phases, from the sale to and the installation at its premise, to the supply of spare parts.
How important is the Turkish market to SGF – and much work do you carry out in this country?
Turkish market to SGF it’s very important as you can from the next answer, SGF is mainly an export company and Turkey, thanks to its vast textile industry, is the second country with which SGF collaborates.
Could you share us your 2019 export figures?
According to our export data, in 2019 SGF exported about 80% of the products, mainly to three countries: Serbia, Turkey and Poland.
What are your plans for the next couple of years?
SGF’s plans between 2020 and 2022 are a lot. We wolud like to improve our international organization, although already very good. Being more present on international markets is a priority, in order to satisfy our customers and their needs, in order to reach all our targets we will start this 2020 organizing and join ITM 2020.
