As we Textile Technology Magazine share with you our interview with Elif Gökyalaz, Foreign Trade Sales Manager of Optimum Digital Planet and wish you a pleasant reading.
Can you tell us about the products and innovations that your company produces?
We produce solvents and UV products in the fields of digital textile printing machines and advertising printing machines in Turkey. We are the only manufacturer in this field. We offer reactive, pigment, direct sublimation and dispersion process to our customers in the textile field. This year, our wide width machine Picasso Tex gave us a great improvement. This product also offers the possibility to print on products such as carpets and rugs. Picasso Tex is also the first product we go out of the fabric.
Are you going to start selling the Picasso Tex machine in the domestic market or foreign market?
At first step, we will start selling our machine in domestic market. There are companies in Gaziantep we discuss about this subject. They will be clear in the first half of this year.
Can you tell us about your wide and narrow width machines?
We have wide and narrow width machines in textile machines. We offer our wide width of machines to home textile companies. We are in contact for most of our narrow width machines with firms that mainly produce women’s clothing. We have two types of machines for the wide width: Picasso Tex and Plasma. We have Nirvana and Nirvana N machines for the narrow width.
Could you tell us about your target markets in 2019?
This year, we are planning to select Gaziantep as the target market in addition to Bursa, Denizli and Çorlu. We export to more than 20 countries abroad and aim to double our exports this year. We see especially Pakistan as our target market. As we company we have exported to India, Bangladesh and Indonesia so far. We have distributors there. Optimum Digital Planet selected Vietnam in the sublimation market and Pakistan in the reactive and pigment process as its target markets in 2018. Apart from these, Africa and Uzbekistan will be among our markets. Currently our machine works in reactive process in Uzbekistan. We made an agreement for the sale of two our machines at Fespa 2018. We are also considering incorporating Kazakhstan into these markets.
How was the year 2018 for you in terms of target markets?
As we Optimum Digital, we have ended 2018 with the fairs we attended as well as the seminars we organized. ntroduced our machines we just produced. We achieved our targets more than enough in 2018. We aim to double our last year’s targets in 2019.
