Death, which Deeply Sadden the Terrot Family: Andreas von Bismarck, Managing Partner of the Company, Passed Away
Andreas von Bismarck, Managing Partner of Terrot GmbH, a German-based developer and manufacturer of circular knitting machines, died on October 31, 2019. His sudden death grieved the Terrot Family, Bismarck’s funeral will be held in Berlin with the participation of close family members. There will also be a public memorial in Chemnitz.
Terrot published a condolence message and a farewell letter following the death of his successful manager Andreas von Bismarck. Mr.Bismarck’s career also included in the letter with the following statements:
“Andreas von Bismarck began his career at Terrot GmbH in 2006 and later became General Manager of the company. Many of Terrot’s achievements can be attributed to his own private management. Andreas has greatly modernized the company, and created several new and innovative products. In 2015, he was the contributer in the acquisition of the Italian company “Pilotelli Macchine Tessili”. Again, in 2015, he was selected as one of Saxony’s top five executives.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Andreas von Bismarck supported non-profit organizations and undertook numerous social responsibility projects. He was the founding partner and spokesperson of the “ Wirtschaft für ein weltoffenes Sachsen”, was the Honorary General Manager of “Kira Auguste Prinzessin von Preussen Musik und Kultur Stiftung” and a member of “Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz”.
In Terrot’s message, it is stated that Peter Schüring will assume the responsibilities of Andreas Von Bismarck as the General Manager. Peter Schüring said that: “Bismarck’s unexpected death shock us all deeply. Andreas von Bismarck has greatly contributed to the growth and success of the company. He was a respected businessman by many business partners. ”
With his sudden death, Andreas von Bismarck left his grieving wife and two daughters behind.
