Terrot Textilmaschinen to Highlight Advanced Double-Knit Expertise at ITM 2026
Terrot Textilmaschinen GmbH will reinforce its position as the premium engineering powerhouse within the Santoni China Group ecosystem by presenting its latest high-performance circular knitting technologies at ITM 2026. The company will showcase its latest innovations to visitors at the Santoni China Group stand in Hall 3, Booth 314.
As part of the Group, Terrot contributes deep application expertise and a comprehensive portfolio of fabric developments, firmly positioned in the high-end market segment. With a strong focus on precision engineering, reliability, and fabric quality, the company continues to set benchmarks in advanced textile structures and demanding applications.
At the center of Terrot’s presentation will be the I3P 196 BW-34″ E24 108F (open width), a further evolution of the established high-system I3P 196 platform. Designed for the requirements of leading brands, the machine handles highly sophisticated knitting structures while significantly expanding its application versatility. With an increased number of systems, it enables higher output without compromising Terrot’s characteristic quality standards. This results in shorter production cycles and improved responsiveness to market demand. A key highlight is the newly developed high-tech double-face fabric produced on the machine. By integrating an additional synthetic yarn, the fabric achieves improved moisture management, enhanced breathability, and superior wearing comfort.
The knit is highly elastic, shape-retentive, and adaptive, delivering a soft, body-contouring feel that follows natural movement – key properties for performance-driven applications. These characteristics make the fabric suitable for outerwear, sportswear, leisurewear, and thermal garments, where functional performance and comfort are equally critical.
Embedded within the Santoni China Group’s overarching theme, “Machines Evolved · Intelligence Delivered” Terrot’s technologies form part of a fully integrated ecosystem that extends beyond standalone machinery. Customers benefit from the interaction of mechanical engineering, material expertise, and digital solutions, enabling greater transparency and efficiency in production processes.
“Terrot stands for engineering excellence and deep application expertise in double-knit technologies,” said Martin Vorsatz. “Within the Santoni China Group, we combine this strength with an integrated ecosystem that helps customers increase efficiency, flexibility, and readiness for future market demands.”
Terrot’s presence at ITM 2026 underlines both its innovation focus and the strategic relevance of key textile markets such as Türkiye and surrounding regions. ITM 2026 offers an ideal platform to engage with industry professionals and demonstrate how advanced engineering and integrated solutions can create measurable competitive advantage.
