Erko Became Turkey Representative of LMW Company

Erko A.Ş., one of the oldest representation companies in Turkey, became the Turkish representative of Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), one of the most important spinning machinery manufacturers in the world. With this cooperation, LMW will continue to offer sustainable solutions in the Turkish market.
LMW is India’s leading textile machinery manufacturer and one of only 3 companies in the world producing the entire range of spinning machines. Established in 1962 to provide the latest spinning technologies to textile mills in India, LMW manufactures the complete range of cotton and synthetic process machinery such as Blowroom, Card, Draw Frame, Comber, Roving and Ring. LMW has a 70% market share in India and exports to many countries including Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam.
With proven experience in supporting Turkish spinning investors, LMW has been serving the Turkish market for over 30 years. Having reached dozens of customers to date, LMW has installed complete automation at international standards in spinning, fabric, knitting and weaving mills in Turkey.
Natarajan Jayakumar and Burak Ateş from the sales team of LMW, which focuses on the Turkish market, visited Erko head office. Following the meetings, LMW signed a cooperation agreement with Erko A.Ş., one of the oldest representation companies in Turkey. With over 125 years of expertise, Erko’s heritage fits seamlessly with LMW’s commitment to excellence, paving the way for a collaboration that goes beyond borders.

In the statement made by Erko regarding the cooperation, the following statements were made; “Erko A.Ş. has gained a very effective place in the textile sector in Turkey for many years and has proven itself by strengthening the companies it represents. Likewise, our aim is to further develop the footprint of LMW company. This agreement will be the beginning of our long-term cooperation.
Our aim will be to enter the yarn sector with a strong cooperation and increase the market share of LMW. Turkey is an important market for the yarn sector and our country has long-term investments that are open to development. LMW has always been at the forefront with its advanced technologies in textile machinery. LMW will continue to offer continuous and sustainable solutions in the Turkish market with Erko A.Ş. as an integrated spinning system manufacturer.”
Within the scope of this cooperation; Erko A.Ş. will provide support to LMW in machine sales and spare parts, and LMW service personnel will be with its customers in Kahramanmaraş and Uşak.
