Teksmak Sales and Marketing Manager Uğur Çelebioğlu said, “The Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition, which welcomes visitors from 82 countries, is of great importance to our ready-to-wear and garment industry. The exhibition will bring a breath of fresh air to the market.”
Teksmak, which stands out with its solutions for the ready-to-wear and garment industry, had a strong participation in the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. Teksmak Sales and Marketing Manager Uğur Çelebioğlu shared his assessment of the exhibition and the overall state of the industry.
Powerful Presentation with German-Origin Systems
Uğur Çelebioğlu, noting that they based their exhibition preparations largely on German technology, said, “Kuris cutting systems and world-renowned German PFAFF sewing machines and automation systems constituted the main product groups at our exhibition booth. Sewing machines from brands like Garudan and Gute were also included in our portfolio.”
“Artificial Intelligence is an Integral Part of Teksmak Solutions”
Çelebioğlu emphasized that artificial intelligence is an integral part of Teksmak’s solutions, saying, “We are already an automation company. Our systems integrate artificial intelligence, hardware, and software. Therefore, we don’t experience any adaptation challenges in this area.”
“Companies Manufacturing in Turkiye Should Be Supported”
Çelebioğlu, reminding that Turkiye is going through a challenging economic period, said: “As machinery manufacturers, we have prepared for the exhibition as best we can. However, it is crucial that the central government and bureaucratic institutions also support the garment industry. Companies manufacturing in Turkiye must be supported so that we can sell our machines and expand our market.”
“We Hosted Our Customers from Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam”
Çelebioğlu stated that the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition, which welcomed visitors from 82 countries, is of great importance to the garment and ready-to-wear sector. He said, “The Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition will bring a breath of fresh air to the market. However, it’s important to remember that garment is a profession for low-income countries. As Turkiye, we are missing out on this area. Markets and production are shifting to Egypt, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and African countries. As machinery manufacturers, we need to focus more on international markets where production is shifting. We hosted customers primarily from Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam at the exhibition.”
Healthy Growth with Productive Collaborations
Uğur Çelebioğlu, noting that Teksmak has solution partners in various countries, said, “Maintaining optimal staffing levels and expanding through strategic partnerships is a healthier growth model. When we look at competing companies, we see that those with excess staff face more challenges.”
“We Develop Systems in Line with New Trends”
Çelebioğlu noted that trends in ready-to-wear are changing, saying that larger sizes and softer textures are replacing classic suits. He said, “In this regard, we are focusing on systems that can work with softer fabrics. We are developing our automation systems to suit these materials.”
“We Continue Our Investments with Hope for Ekonomi Recovery”
Çelebioğlu stated that they have positive expectations for the second half of 2025 and 2026, saying, “In line with Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek’s statements that interest rates will decrease and the economy will recover starting in the second half of 2025, we are continuing our investments. We will continue to grow by focusing on various projects together with our partners abroad.”
