‘‘ITM 2022 Exhibition was an Opportunity to Introduce Our Company’’

ITM 2022 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, which brought textile technology leaders together after 3 years break, created a business volume of approximately 1.5 billion Euros. Domestic and international companies participating in the ITM 2022 Exhibition, which accelerated the Turkish and world economy, were satisfied with both the sales and the new collaborations they established. One of those companies was IOZ (ITS- OZDAG) Textronic Ltd. which was established 2 years ago with Pakistani business partners. We conducted an interview with Mithat Öztekin, General Manager of the company for our Textile Technology magazine.
Founded by a team with nearly 35 years of experience in the textile industry, the company provides services to companies engaged in yarn production with its employees both in Turkey and Pakistan. ITS-OZDAG, which sells the systems developed in the field of Core Yarn and Slub Yarn, also helps companies in the quality of such yarns and the development of the Effect program.
‘‘Our Products Are User Friendly and Cost Effective’’
Mithat Öztekin, General Manager of ITS -OZDAG Textronic, expressed that they attach importance to the convenience and cost-effectiveness of the products they sell and continued as follows: ‘‘One of the most important features of our company is that it supports our after-sales systems with a strong technical team.’’
Stating that they are newly recognized in many countries including Turkey, Öztekin indicated that they have established business partnerships in Egypt, Iran, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan as well as Turkey and Pakistan. Öztekin continued as follows. ‘‘We also provide services such as yarn quality, personnel training and machine maintenance to companies producing core and slub yarn in Turkey. In this sense, we exist with the technical support that companies need.’’
‘‘The pandemic period offered us the opportunity to improve ourselves and make investments,’’ said Öztekin, adding that they hope 2023 will be more productive in every aspect.
Pointing out that they participated in the ITM exhibition for the first time, Mithat Öztekin concluded his words as follows: ‘‘Due to the pandemic, we could not come together because the exhibitions were canceled in the textile sector as in all sectors. ITM Exhibition was very important as it was the first international textile machinery exhibition organized after 3 years. Because 3 years is a long period of time for a constantly developing and changing sector. Thanks to ITM, we had the opportunity to introduce our company, to get to know the newly formed companies like us and to see the developments in the sector closely. Therefore, it was very productive for us. We would like to thank the ITM 2022 team for providing us with this opportunity.’’
