“The Year 2023 had a Negative Impact on the Business Development”
The year 2023 brought with it a variety of challenges, with geopolitical crises, rising inflation and supply chain issues being the defining aspects. This led to great uncertainty with regard to the global consumer markets and had a negative impact on the business development. Also, The Jakob Müller Group is already offering various platforms with appropriate solutions. Our clear target is to play a leading role in terms of providing innovations amd solutions with regard to the production of sustainable narrow textiles – in all segments of our industry.
ITM 2024, to be held in June this year, will be again the opportunity to meet our customers on a personal level in order to exchange experiences and to share the view on future trends. Moreover, ITM 2024 will give us a platform to present our latest technology with a direct feedback from the market.
“Türkiye is One of Our Key Markets”
Türkiye is one of our key markets and is therefore always part of our strategic considerations in all directions.
The lack of skilled labour is not limited to the textile industry, but affects almost all sectors. We are trying to counteract this by intensifying the traditionally deep-rooted training in various professional areas within our group of companies. We are furthermore intensifying the use of various media channels for job advertisements and communicate very transparent via our website. Last but not least we are increasingly taking part in recruitment events to make aware potential candidates of the wide range of attractive opportunities in our industry.
