Nam Isı Realized 20 Million TL Investment in Çorlu
Nam Isı, which has grown by an average of 50 % every year since it started production in 2014, increased its sales by 70 percent and its turnover by 100 percent in 2021. The company, which sold 1350 burners last year, sold 1800 burners at the end of 2022. Expanding its production capacity every year, the company invested 20 million liras in Tekirdağ / Çorlu.
Founded in 1995 to provide burner technical services, Nam Isı opened its first branch in Çorlu in 1998. Nam Isı is the only company in Turkey that sells burners, a gas burning device used in stenter, steaming and drying machines, to a domestic textile machinery manufacturer.
Nam Isı, which provides services in industrial heating systems, launched the Nam Burner brand in 2014 with 20 years of experience in the sector. With the Nam Burner brand, the company directs the demands of textile machinery manufacturers with the burners it produces in European standards (CE).
‘‘We Sold 1800 Burners in 2022’’
In an interview with Tekstil Teknoloji magazine, Hakan Arslan, General Manager of Nam Isı, stated that they sold 50 burners in the year they were established and that they have grown by 50-60 % on average every year. Arslan continued as follows; ‘‘Last year, we produced 1350 burners. This year, 1800 burners were sold. There was a 70 % growth in machine sales in 2021 and this figure affected the turnover by one hundred percent. In 2022, our turnover continues to increase in the same way. We aim to increase our investments to increase sales figures. Since it is not possible to reach the production capacities we want in our current facility, we invested 20 million liras in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ. We will continue our investments by increasing our production capacity. We want to increase our current capacity 4-5 times. With these investments; we also aim to carry our corporate identity and brand awareness abroad. The biggest reason why we chose Tekirdağ for investment is that textile machinery manufacturers are active around Çorlu and we can easily reach them and provide rapid technical service.’’

‘‘We provide technical service in Kahramanmaraş, Bursa, Gaziantep, Uşak, Denizli and Tekirdağ’’
Underlining that they work in the field of application as well as production, Arslan expressed that; ‘‘Since we convert stenter and drying machines operating with steam and hot oil into natural gas systems, companies receive this service from us in order to reduce their carbon footprint and renew their old machines. Compared to the hot oil heated system, the burner is environmentally friendly, reduces fossil fuel consumption, reduces the need for personnel and provides a less costly production. For this reason, we are the company that sells the most burners in Turkey. We also support factories in pressure steam and spare parts sales.’’
Emphasizing that price advantage and spare parts supply are the most important factors that make them a preferred choice, Arslan said; ‘‘Our service is also among the factors that make us stand out. We take care to establish a service network in the cities where textile manufacturers operate the most. The cities where we provide technical service are Kahramanmaraş, Bursa, Gaziantep, Denizli, Uşak and Tekirdağ.’’

‘‘Our market share in the sector is 80 %’’
Stating that they have invested in an additional 2 thousand m2 facility in Tekirdağ region, Arslan added that the work here will mainly focus on R&D studies. Indicating that the product they sell the most is RAM300, Arslan said; ‘‘Both machine and fabric manufacturers should take care to purchase from domestic suppliers. Turkey needs an average of 2,500 to 3,000 stenter burners annually. We have the potential to meet this demand depending on the increase in our business volume in this field. Our market share in the sector is currently 80 %.’’
Arslan further emphasized that their goal is to move towards new markets and increase their export rates. On the other hand, Arslan emphasized that most of the intermediate products used in the production of textile machinery are imported from abroad; ‘‘Some manufacturers in the sector import this product even though they have domestic burners. In order to manufacture more intermediate products in Turkey, the lack of personnel to be trained in this field should be eliminated.’’
