New of the 100 Series from Mimaki: TS100-1600 Textile Printing Machine
Mimaki, which recently introduced the UJV100-160 models for UV printing and JV100-160 models for eco solvent printing, brought the textile printing industry together with the entry-level sublimation transfer inkjet printing model TS100-1600. Equipped with innovative Mimaki Core Technologies, the TS100-1600 model provides textile printers with the advantage of low investment and low operating costs.
Arjen Evertse, General Manager of Mimaki Eurasia, said that two main points came to the forefront in the expansion of the entry-level 100 Series. Stating that the most vibrant and dynamic structure in all industries is seen at the entry level and start-ups, Evertse pointed out that these investors can make quick decisions despite being cost sensitive and can achieve high profitability with flexible production. Evertse stated that with the Mimaki 100 Series, the best price-performance models that meet the demands of users have been developed. Evertse said that; “In recent years, the usual high-volume production method has begun to be exceeded in the textile and apparel markets. The TS100-1600 fully meets the demands of the textile industry advancing in the transformation towards digital. Working without stock, production on demand, series in low quantities and customized / various designs are the basic criteria in this period. It is possible to achieve all of these goals with TS100-1600. This model, which makes sublimation printing much more accessible with its famous Mimaki quality, will eliminate the hesitations of textile manufacturers who are considering transition to professional textile printing.”
Offering low investment and operating costs for textile manufacturers, TS100-1600 is also an ideal solution for sample production of high volume enterprises. With its compact structure and powerful equipment, TS100-1600 facilitates the expert printing job for all businesses.
Developed for a flexible and profitable start
TS100-1600 sublimation printing machine with a printing width of 1,610 mm can reach speeds of up to 70 m2/ h. The new textile printer is an attractive option especially for those who want to achieve high printing quality with low investment and operating costs. Providing users with the power to print on demand even in the smallest quantities, the TS100-1600 saves them from keeping large amounts of stock.
Stating that the TS100-1600 is equipped with 1-liter advantageous ink bottles, Arjen Evertse emphasized that this enables uninterrupted operation for a longer time compared to cartridges. Evertse said; “As a first in textile printing, we present this model in 1 liter ink bottles. Similar costs are achieved with large ink packages used in higher models. In this way, users significantly reduce their operating costs. Reduced dye change periods bring along stable and long-term work.”
Equipped with Core Technologies and DAS
As with all Mimaki new models, the TS100-1600 is equipped with Mimaki Core Technologies that provide safe operation and reduce operator intervention. The NCU (Nozzle Check Unit), which automatically detects the nozzle condition, automatically performs the cleaning process when it detects a missing nozzle. In case problem is not solved by cleaning, NRS (Nozzle Recovery System) automatically replaces the defective nozzles with alternative nozzles. Users continue to work without waiting for repairing. MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4) prevents pass / pass marks on printing. Another prominent feature of the TS100-1600 is DAS (Dot Adjustment System), which automates the dot position correction and feeding amount correction tasks that were previously done manually. In this way, it both reduces the operator’s workload and prevents operator-induced errors.
Rasterlink7 software allows for different applications
In addition to its robust structure, powerful hardware and production flexibility, TS100-1600 is offered to users with Rasterlink7 software as standard. This software, thanks to the Harlequin RIP® core engine, can reduce RIP time by up to 25% compared to the previous version. Images and texts can be placed with the variable data printing function, which has been added to Rasterlink7. This function is very useful for customization. For example, the names and numbers on the uniform can be printed quickly in one operation.
