Sclavos to Showcase Next-Generation Sustainable Dyeing Technology at ITM 2026
Sclavos S.A., a recognized leader in Soft Flow Fabric Dyeing machines, will present its latest technological advancements at ITM 2026, with a strong focus on productivity, sustainability, and process optimization through its Athena4A® platform.
At the core of Sclavos innovation lies the Aquachron™ non-stop rinsing process, which eliminates conventional “drain & fill” steps and the associated idle time. By maintaining continuous fabric movement and stable thermal conditions throughout the process, Aquachron™ enhances productivity while significantly reducing resource consumption.
Complementing this is the patented Double Soft Floating™ (DSF) technology, a breakthrough in fabric handling. Through a dual-nozzle system and optimized pump design, DSF creates a “floating effect” that ensures extremely gentle treatment of the fabric. This results in reduced fibre stress, improved fabric quality, and higher dyeing efficiency, ultimately minimizing the need for reprocessing and reducing the use of dyes and chemicals.
The Athena4A® has been engineered with sustainability at its core, delivering substantial reductions in water, thermal energy, and electricity consumption. The integration of the BCHR heat recovery system allows effective reuse of thermal energy, while the machine’s optimized design ensures low electrical demand during operation.
A key differentiator is the integrated TEAM (Thermal Energy Accurate Measurement) system, which enables real-time monitoring of thermal energy consumption across the entire process. By providing accurate and independent data, it allows textile manufacturers to better understand, control, and reduce their energy usage and associated CO₂ emissions.
The environmental performance of the Athena4A® is supported by an independently verified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), conducted in accordance with EN ISO 14040 and 14044 standards, reinforcing Sclavos’ commitment to transparency and measurable sustainability.
With decades of experience and installations worldwide, Sclavos continues to support textile manufacturers in improving operational efficiency while meeting increasingly demanding environmental requirements.
Visitors at ITM 2026 are welcome to experience firsthand how Sclavos technologies redefine the standards of modern fabric dyeing. The company will welcome visitors at its stand, number 1113A, in Hall 11.
